48 MonthsBachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered by the Himachal Pradesh Technical University, Hamirpur, and recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10+2 examination with Physics/ Mathematics /Chemistry/ Computer Science/Electronics/ Information Technology/ Biology/Informatics Practices/ Biotechnology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies/Entrepreneurship. (Any of the three) and Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
Or
Passed diploma (in Engineering and Technology) with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.
Admission Details
1. The admission to the first 50% of the seats shall be made based on merit/rank/score obtained in Joint Entrance Examination (Main)-2021 hereinafter referred to as JEE (Main)-2021}. The remaining 50% of seats will be filled up based on merit of 10+2 Examinations conducted by a recognized Board/University. 2. The number of seats that remain vacant to be filled based on each test/examination will be shifted and filled based on the next test/examination in continuous order.
