UIIT Shimla admissions is offered to the courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. UIIT Shimla admissions are offered to B.Tech and M.Tech courses, Aspirants applying for UIIT Shimla admissions should meet the admission criteria and appear for the entrance examination conducted by the university.

UIIT Shimla B.Tech Admission Process

• Visit the official website of UIIT Shimla and fill out the application form.

• The institute conducts a common entrance test for admission to B.Tech at UIT Shimla.

• Eligible candidates must appear for the entrance test HPCET. 

• Based on the student's performance in the entrance examination, students will be shortlisted.

• A joint merit list will be drawn from the eligible candidates for UIIT Shimla B.Tech lateral entry admissions.

UIIT Shimla M.Tech Admission Procedure

• Candidates who meet the above eligibility criteria can apply for the courses.

• The admissions for the M.Tech programme is done based on the entrance exam conducted by the university along with the qualifying examination scores.

• Candidates will be shortlisted based on the merits of the entrance examination, and a separate merit list will be prepared for Himachal and All-India candidates.

• The shortlisted candidates can get the documents verified and pay the M.Tech admission fees.
