Government Law College Mumbai offers a variety of facilities and infrastructure to its students. Boys Hostel
The GLC Mumbai does not have a hostel of its own but it provides 82 seats for male students at various locations near the campus. The college does not assure any candidate of hostel accommodation at the time of admission to the college.
Gym
GLC Mumbai has a well-equipped gym with modern equipment like a dumbbell, treadmill and many more for fitness enthusiasts.
Library
The GLC Mumbai has a well-equipped library with a large collection of books, magazines, national and international journals. The Library also has an original copy of Lord Macaulay's 1886 Indian Penal Code, as well as discussions from the Constituent Assembly and the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. The library houses more than 42,000 books. The library subscribes to various journals such as All England Law Reporter, Chancery & Probate Division Law Reports, Lawyers Collective, U.N. Weekly Newsletter, Journal of Criminal Law and several Law Reviews such as the Harvard Law Review and the Yale Law Review.
Sports
GLC Mumbai has a mini gymkhana where a variety of indoor games are played. The institution has a sports ground where outdoor games such as cricket and football are played.
I.T Infrastructure
The GLC Mumbai college has modern IT infrastructure and the whole campus is connected with WI-Fi.
Cafeteria
The GLC Mumbai college has a well-maintained cafeteria which provides vegetarian and non vegetarian food at subsidised rate for the benefit of the students.

College Infrastructure

Old infrastructure but with all the facilities. The infrastructure is well maintained by the authorities. What all things are needed for a law student are available over here. The main highlight of a law school is it's library and it has a ample law books to read over.

How does one get admission into GLC Mumbai

Hello,

To get admission into Government Law College (GLC) Mumbai for the 5-year or 3-year law course, you need to go through the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH CET LAW). The college offers both undergraduate law programs: BLS LLB (5 years) and LLB (3 y ears) .

Eligibility for the 5-year course requires a higher secondary school (12th) qualification with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories).
You should have a bachelor's degree from a recognized institution for the 3-year LLB course.

Total intake for 5 years course is 240, with 180 in aided divisions and 60 in unaided divisions. Intake for 3 year course is 300.

Admission to this College is through MH CET LAW results. Reservation policies are there for the admission of the residents of Maharashtra according to government guidelines of the state.
