AP LAWCET is an entrance test for admission in law colleges in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Admission in Government Law College Mumbai is not done based on your scores/ ranks in AP LAWCET. Admission will be done based on a separate entrance test- MH CET. Hence admission in GLC Mumbai is not possible with AP LAWCET ranks. Now coming to your question,as per the previous year cutoff chances are medicore to low that you can get GLC in the substituent rounds.But aspirant according to my viewpoint, you should for some more colleges i which chances of admission are quite high in order to create a backup.

Based on the MH CET LAW cutoffs for the year 2018, you can get chance in both ILS and GLC.

The closing rank for ILS was 1414 and for GLC was 1003.

Having said that, I will also say that the cutoffs vary every year depending on the number of candidates, their rank, the number of seats available, etc.

Government law college doesnot have hostel of its own.The hostel is of Mumbai University (I am talking about the hostel which is near to GLC,at walking distance). Glc has some rooms reserved in this hostel for their own students so not all the people who live in this hostel are from GLC. They are from different colleges affiliated to MU. The name of the hostel is GOVERNMENT COLLEGE HOSTEL.
