Hello Manish
For getting admission in GLC MUMBAI you have to give MHCET and should have score atleast 45% in your graduation from a recognised University. And40%  is for the reserved categories.
Now the question paper consist of 150 question with no negative marking and the subjects are general knowledge, logical reasoning and analytical reasoning,  English and legal Aptitude.
For there preparation for subjects like general knowledge read Newspaper regularly and you can also take help from GK sites gktoday, leadthecompetition, etc .
For logical reasoning and analytical you can refer Rk Aggarwal book you can practice from there.
For legal Aptitude you can refer Lexi Nexis.
I hope this helps you and best of luck.

Hi,Riticha

Your Score Is Quite low and Let me tell You there is a Lot of Candidates Score is More than You so,Solely it Decrease Your Chances of Converting or getting Into Good Colleges,But yeah If You Have Maharastra Domicile,Then you Might get a Seat In some of Good Law college but,I am Not sure about GLC,Mumbai.

Good luck

Hello Pavani, first of all congratulations on your rank.Assuming that your from General Category the best government law college for you will be

  • Sri Krishnadevaraya University,Ananthapur with cutoff rank 1653 for LLB
  • JC College of Law,Guntur with cut off rank 1635 for BA LLB and 3948 for LLB

Hello dear
With your score and that you are a general category student it is tough to get a seat under MHCET. If see last years cut off trends you won't be getting a college especially ILS and GLC Mumbai because there cut off goes really high. And also they don't have ex servicemen quota.  I am sorry but don't lose hope there are other options as well. You can give exam for BVP Pune it's in the month of june or you can take a year off and study for other CET law exams like CLAT AILET,etc . I hope this helps. And thank you for considering us for your queries.
Best of luck for your future endeavours.

Hope this helps.

Hii...

As your score is 101/150 in mhcet exam .... Your chance of getting admission in GLC is quite less ,as Cut-off for GLC from last two year are 104 and 107 .

With your rank there are possibility to get admission in ILS.but nothing are sure now ,may cut- off go high or low by previous year.

Wait till the merit list announced ,only your rank will decide which college you will get.

If you rank under 150 you will definitely get GLC and ILS.if not the you have to wait for CAP round IV .

You can also go with other colleges .....,like you may go with University of Mumbai for 5 year course.

Hope it will help!!

All the best!!

Hello Vaibhav, you can get LLB course in GLC only if you are from SC/ST category because closing rank marks for general category was 127 and OBC was 111 in 2018. ILS Pune has a closing rank marks of 111 for general category. You can get other colleges apart from these two. Colleges like Ambedkar college of law, gopaladas law college and kishinchand law college are easily available for you.

Hello Dipti,

According to the data we have for the previous years cutoffs, the law cutoffs for this year in some of the best colleges like GLC and ILS are expected to be very high. For general category students, the opening cutoff for GLC would be around 144 and the closing would be around 127. For ILS, the opening cutoff would be around 143 and the closing cutoff would be 111. Based on your score, the most appropriate colleges for you are-

1.SNBP Law College - Pune

2.Central India College of Law & LLM - Nagpur

3.Bharati Vidyapeeth Yashwantrao Chavan Law College - Karad

4.Hutatma Rajguru Shikshan Prasarak Mandal’s Law College Rajgurunagar - Pune

5.Oriental College Of Law - [OCL] - Navi Mumbai

Good Luck!

Hy Rajnandini!!

I am sorry to inform you that you can not get admissions in GLC without clearing MH CET exam. Glc conducts this exam every years to give admissions to the students for the 5 year LLB course, so without appearing for MH CET  it is not possible to get admission in glc Mumbai. if you have any further queries kindly contact.

good luck!!

hy Abhishek!!

I am sorry to inform you that with 71 marks you cannot get admission in one of the Government colleges as the cutoff for MH CET goes very high. You should start looking for an alternative approach. But you keep on checking the list of the colleges to ensure if you got your name there just hope for the best. Feel free to contact us for any further queries.

good luck!!
