Hostels nearby and the admissions are usually based on the marks you scored in your previous examination. Then are few hostels that also accomodate students based on their low income status as well.

You have to apply for it through college, then based on your last qualification marks you will get selected. If you belong to any caste except general and are from low income group, you dont have to score impressive grades.
