What is the cut off marks for Maharashtra state candidates in ILS and GLC?

Hello dear,

Each year the cutoffs may change due to various factors. For ILS it would be in the range of 115-15 0.And for the GLC it is around 130-145.

My mhcet low 2018 score is 60/150. 5 years B. A. L. L. B. Domicile Maharashtra & OBC category in Maharashtra. So I get GLC Mumbai /ILS PUNE.

Hi my daughter gave mhcet law 5yrs and her rank is 125 and she is from outside Maharashtra. Can my daughter get ILS or Glc

Hey Neha
There are around 24 seats for the Outside Maharashtra Candidates in ILS Pune and 24 seats in GLC Mumbai. Considering that these are the top 2 and the most sought after colleges under MH CET, and your daughter's rank is 125( among the outiside Maharashtra candidates) , you do not seem to have much chances in these colleges.
Though you have a very fair chance for admission in other good colleges in MHCET.
Do try for the counselling and hope for the best!

How many seats are there for OMS Candidate in ILS and GLC respectively?

Dear Sonal,
There are 85% seats reserved for candidates of Maharashtra state in all institutes which are either government or government aided. ILS Pune has 180 seats (+60 under approval) of 5 year Law programmes. As there will be only 27 seats for OMS candidates (at best 36 if additional 60 seats are approved) out of 180. Out of 180 seats available at GLC for 5 year LLB OMS candidates will be admitted on only 27 seats. I hope it helps!

Why is everyone here saying that reservation for GLC and ILS Pune is 85% but the offical website says 50%?

Hey Shikha.

There are 85% of the total seats of ILS Pune and GLC Mumbai reserved for Maharashtra Candidates. 10% are for Outside Maharashtra Candidates and 5% are for NRI/ OCI/PIO/ Foreign Candidates.

The 50% reservation is related to the reservation made of SCs STs and other backward classes of Maharastra.

I would suggest you to download the Information brochure from the link below and look at Page number 61 which clearly says that 85% seats are reserved for Maharashtra Candidates.

I am outside Maharashtra candidate and my rank is 168, can I get GLC or ILS Pune in mhcet law 5 yrs?

Based on your MH CET law score the chances are less for ILS Pune but the chances can be there for GLC Mumbai. You can check your other chances with MH CET law college predictor tool.

What is the reservation criteria in GLC and ILS for mhcet law 5yrs

65% students from Maharashtra students have reserved seats under MHTCET Law 5year courses for GLc and ILS Pune.

In order to get admission in ILS Pune, your rank should be 145(rank) as per last year cutoff. But you have chances in Govt. Law College, Mumbai.

College Infrastructure

Old infrastructure but with all the facilities. The infrastructure is well maintained by the authorities. What all things are needed for a law student are available over here. The main highlight of a law school is it's library and it has a ample law books to read over.
