Government Medical College, Kozhikode Admission Procedure:-

Government Medical College, Kozhikode offers admissions to MBBS programmes based on NEET UG scores, to D.M and M.Ch programmes based on NEET SS scores and to M.D and M.S programmes based on NEET PG scores. Students also need to register and qualify the All India level counselling conducted to offer admissions to various medical colleges of India based on NEET scores. Government Medical College, Kozhikode also offers admissions to the B.Pharma programme based on KEAM scores and KEAM counselling and to the M.Pharma programme based on GPAT scores and GPAT counselling. Detailed description on the admission procedure is mentioned below.

For MBBS programme-

• Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS programme need to appear and qualify NEET (UG).

• Based on the qualifying marks achieved by candidates in NEET (UG), they will have to register themselves for NEET (UG) counselling.

• Candidates will register themselves for counselling of NEET (UG) on the official website of NEET along with all required documents and payment of fees.

• Candidates need to select Government Medical College, Kozhikode as their first preference while doing the choice locking in the NEET UG counselling. 

• Candidates will get admission to the MBBS programme based on NEET (UG) counselling, choice filling, choice locking, document verification, merit and fee payment.

For D.M/M.Ch programmes-

• Candidates seeking admission to D.M/M.Ch programmes need to appear and qualify NEET SS.

• Based on the qualifying marks achieved by candidates in NEET SS, they will have to register themselves for NEET SS counselling.

• Candidates need to select Government Medical College, Kozhikode as their first preference in the NEET SS counselling.

• Candidates need to submit all the necessary documents along with required fees while doing the registration for NEET SS counselling.

• Candidates will get admission to D.M/M.Ch programmes based on NEET SS counselling, choice locking, document verification, merit and payment of fees.

For M.D/M.S programmes-

• Candidates seeking admission to M.D/M.S programmes need to appear and qualify NEET (PG).

• Based on the qualifying marks achieved by candidates in NEET (PG), they will have to register themselves for NEET (PG) counselling.

• Students seeking admission to the B.Pharma programme need to appear and qualify Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) exam conducted by the Government of Kerala.
• Based on the qualifying marks, students have to register themselves for KEAM counselling on the official website along with all required documents and fees payment.
• Candidates have to select Government Medical College, Kozhikode while doing the choice locking in the counselling process.
• Admissions will be offered to candidates after the successful verification of documents and payment of fees.

For M.Pharma programme-

• Candidates have to appear and qualify GPAT to get admitted to the M.Pharma programme.
• Students have to register themselves for GPAT counselling based on the qualifying marks scored in GPAT exam.
