Government Polytechnic, Chamoli offers four full-time diploma programmes, each geared toward satisfying the needs of the growing industry in their respective fields. The admission process for all four is the same, structured on scores of Uttarakhand JEEP and due counselling afterward. Each programme is described here in detail:
Diploma in Civil Engineering with Environmental and Pollution Control: An intake of 40 is offered in this programme. The programme integrates civil engineering principles with environmental and pollution control, thus paving the way for sustainable construction practices in an environmental context.
D.Pharma (Diploma in Pharmacy): The diploma in pharmacy programme offers an intake of 40 to fulfill the requirements of candidates pursuing pharmaceutical sciences. This programme studies drug formulation, dispensing, and pharmacy management in a very precise manner.
Diploma in Information Technology: This programme has 30 available seats and aims to update IT knowledge and skills for students in programming, database management, and network administration.
Diploma in Electronics Engineering with Consumer Electronics: Admission is offered with 30 seats for this programme in the field which specialises in consumer electronics devoted to electronics engineering, thus preparing students for an ultimately demanding life in the field of electronics.
For all these programmes, the admissions process remains unchanged. The candidates must clear the Uttarakhand JEEP examination and attend the counselling session for seat allocation.
