36 MonthsDiploma in Electrical Engineering is a three-year full-time course offered by Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board, Dharamshala and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
Passed 10th Std./SSC examination. Obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination.
Admission Details
- Candidates are interested in taking admission in the first year of 3 years diploma program in Govt. Polytechnics are required to take PAT (Polytechnic admission test) which is being conducted by Himachal Pradesh Takniki Shiksha Board Dharamshala Distt. Kangra H.P. every year in the month of May. The selection for admission to different courses is being conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education H.P Sundernagar through centralized counseling on the basis of merit of PAT.
- Admission into the second year of diploma-level courses under the lateral entry scheme is made on the basis of merit of LEET (lateral entry entrance test) or 10+2 science after exhausting the merit of LEET.
