Hans Raj Mahila Maha Vidyalaya, Jalandhar (HMV College Jalandhar) is a leading college for women in north India. BCA: Merit-based admission to the Bachelor of Computer Application course. Candidates should have passed 10+2 with mathematics as a subject.
B.Com: The admissions for B.Com and B.Com (Hons) courses are merit-based. Candidates need to have 10+2 with commerce subjects or allied disciplines.
BA: The college also provides several courses in BA such as BA (Hons) in English, Hindi, Political Science, Economics, and Psychology. Admissions are based on merit keeping 10+2 marks in mind.
M.Sc: Various M.Sc programs offered like Computer Science, Information Technology, Fashion Designing and Merchandising, Botany, Bioinformatics, Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics. Merit in the qualifying bachelor's degree is the criterion for admission.
M.Com: Merit-based entry into the Master of Commerce course. A B.Com or equivalent degree is required.
MA: The college offers MA programs in Political Science, Hindi, English, Punjabi, Music (Instrumental and Vocal), Journalism and Mass Communication, and Economics. Admission is done on the basis of merit in the concerned bachelor's degree.
B.Voc and M.Voc: The college has different Bachelor and Master of Vocation courses. Admission is on the basis of merit, taking into account the marks in the qualifying examination.
