Hi-Tech Institute of Technology (HIT), located in Bhubaneswar, and it provides a number of engineering and management programs. The admission processes at the institution were designed to assist in ensuring that candidates deserving undertaking specific undergraduate and postgraduate programs are selected accordingly. The school aligns with Biju Patnaik University of Technology (BPUT) and follows the procedure as provided by the academic council of the respective university. Application Process
Every program has a separate application process followed by Hi-Tech Institute of Technology. B. Tech programs: First pass the JEE Main or OJEE examination. Then register for the respective counseling process (JoSAA for JEE Main or OJEE counseling). Third, fill in the official counseling website application form. Choose HIT and further desired courses during counseling, and finally, should a seat be allotted, report in HIT for document verification and payment of fees.
For MBA program: First pass in the OJEE MBA examination. Second, register for OJEE counseling. Third, fill out an application form on the OJEE counseling website. Select HIT and the MBA program during counseling. Finally, should a seat be allotted, formalities for admission shall be completed at HIT.
For M.Tech programs: First pass the OJEE PGAT examination. Second, get registered for OJEE PGAT counseling. Third, fill-in application form on OJEE counseling website. Choose HIT and preferred M.Tech specialization during counseling. Finally, should a seat be allotted, report to HIT for document verification and admission.

B. Tech: B.tech courses offered by HIT include courses like Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The admission to these courses is based on the scores obtained in JEE Main and OJEE. These programs have an availability of a total of 300 seats. The students should have passed the 10+2 exam along with JEE Main or OJEE and the subjects studied must include Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry, in order to become eligible.
MBA: The admission to the MBA program in HIT is done on the basis of the OJEE MBA results. This examination is held at the state level by the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam Board at the starting of each academic year. An intake of 60 seats is approved by the program.
M.Tech: HIT offers M.Tech courses in Structural Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Power Electronics and Drives, and VLSI and Embedded Systems. Admission into these programs is based on the Graduate Entry Test (GET) and a score secured in the OJEE PGAT (Post Graduate Admission Test). To acquire the eligibility, a candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech degree in related field. The total intake of M.Tech programs is 45 seats.
Diploma: HIT runs Diploma programs in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Admission to these diploma courses is given based on the merit rank drawn from marks obtained in the qualifying examination followed by web-based e-counseling. Each diploma program will have an intake of 60 seats.

Mobiles are allowed in every engineering college subject to condition you should not use it during lectures or sometimes in front of professors as some professors take it as disrespect. Mobile phones are nowadays has become part of our lives and so college understand it and thus allow it.
