Indira Gandhi Institute of Child Health (IGICH), Bangalore; spearheads pediatrics education and health services. The Institute provides during its postgraduate medical courses, the entire interest toward childhood health. Very strictly with its admission criteria, this Institute is keen on selecting candidates based on merit, even though it has very few seats you can imagine.
Generally, the admission cycle for postgraduates at IGICH usually runs coincidentally with that of the national medical admissions dates. For the Postgraduate courses, particularly the MD Paediatrics course, admission to the institute is based on the eligibility criteria set by the NEET PG, or the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate programs. It is this national examination which is very important for prospective pediatricians all over India.
Most general requirements at IGICH for a postgraduate program require candidates to have completed their MBBS degree from a recognized university. Every year, important dates for the NEET PG examination and the admission process thereafter are announced.
Application Process
The application procedures at IGICH will differ according to the program of interest:

1. Qualify in the NEET PG exam.

3. During the counseling process, put IGICH as the choice institution.
