The best infrastructure among all the DU affiliated colleges. Probably the only college to have its own museum and archive room. One of the few colleges of DU having its own swimming pool. Very huge library and the most beautiful college out of all the DU affiliated colleges. The most hygienic among all.
Better in academic discipline than other DU colleges. The faculty was better before than the newly recruited faculty. Academically the college is strict and very disciplined. It's a good option if you're more academic oriented.
Placements are limited. Placements involving very high packages cannot be expected. But certain departments like the Economics and Commerce departments are good. Otherwise the college does not focus on the placements much. There will be offers shared with you though.
Indraprastha college for women has a big and beautiful campus with old but well maintained buildings. The campus is clean, safe and has a nice atmosphere. The college has a huge library with many books, good labs for science students, a nice auditorium for events and sports facilities like basketball and tennis courts. However, the classrooms are old and need renovation, there not enough parking space and the hostel facilities are limited. The college infrastructure is good but needs some improvement to make it even better for students.
The BA Program at indraprastha college for women is good. The teachers are knowledgeable and helpful and they explain things clearly. The curriculum is interesting and covers a wide range of subjects. The college also offers many elective courses, which allows students to explore their interests. However, the attendance rules are strict and the assignments and exams can be tough. The academics are challenging but rewarding, and students recieve a well established education.
The placement scene at Indraprastha college for women is decent for BA Students. Many companies come to campus for recruitment, offering jobs in fields like marketing, human resource and teaching. Some students also get internships, which helps them gain work experience. However, the packages are not very high, and not all students get placed. but, the college does provide training and support to help students prepare for interviews and jobs.

The college has a strong focus on women empowernment and has a supportive environment for girls from all backgrounds. The location is convenient with the college being accessible by metro and bus. The alumni network is strong with many sucessful women in various fields.
The campus along with the equipment and facilities provided are above average and enough to ensure comfort, the campus is clean and beautifully maintained. You get good computer systems along with projectors in many rooms as well.
There’s a proper attention paid onto ensuring that the syllabus is carried out properly and we get to learn a lot extra as well. There’s a specific emphasis on attendance and teachers do pay attention to it.
The placement cell works well. There are consistent opportunities that get shared onto the groups. But since I’m in my first year myself I’m yet to find out about the companies and packages that are offered
Though it’s slightly more expensive than other du colleges, I do believe you get what you pay for here, the campus the teachers the events and the opportunities are all in your favour
Both from the aesthetic and safety point of view, the ground is huge and there’s plenty that students can indulge in.

The facilities available are satisfactory, labs, av rooms, auditorium all are well equipped. The classrooms are comfortable and well lit, there are projects in some rooms too. The campus is hygienic and clean
Ipcw is known for the importance it gives to academic, the professors are all incredibly helpful and understanding. Attendance is taken seriously here and you will fill like you missed out on stuff if absent because teachers go in details about the syllabus
As someone who is still in first year I don’t really know much about the numbers of both placements and offers but the placement cell works decently and we are updated about internship opportunities often.
The college infrastructure is amazing with its stunning white colored building and beautifully decorated garden area creating an impressive and inviting atmosphere. the college was established in 1924 so it has some old some classroom, but seating arrangement are good which provides a learning experience by integrating technology with tradition teaching method laboratories for various discipline including science computer especially psychology. the college library is well stocked, offering a vast collection of books, journal and digital sources. behind the college there is a large field for sport activity such as badminton basketball yoga tennis etc.it is also serve as a venue for college fest, ensuring student have opportunity for enjoyment. the college have also a spacious auditorium for hosting various programmed and events. the college cafeteria is well maintained and hygienic though slightly expensive overall it provides good dining experiences
As a master's student in the history programmed my class held at faculty of social science on university main campus. the education quality here is excellent, with well experienced professors who with engage and interact with student. we often have debate and discussion with professors. one of the professor Dr Surendra has receive an award for contributing to student personality development and strives enhances personality. additionally, the history department has been awarded for its advanced studies the education here helps us develop a good personality and become capable individuals for the future. I am glad to have the opportunity to study there .
I am a student of history, and there aren't many placement opportunities in my field. however, placement for other vocational courses is quite good. history course can go into various careers such as state department, archaeology survey of India museum and the civil services.
the fee of my MA course is 13320 per year and its totally worth it because the education quality here is the best also infrastructure, campus environment was amazing. this is one of the premier institutions in India. I believe that the fees are very low considering the quality of education here. the fee varies according to different categories and for the SC/ST students, the fees are even lower. this is ensured that underprivilege student can also study at premier institution. it's totally worth it.
the best experience of college life is campus. where studying with friends become enjoyable and fosters bond. the du campus offers excellent facilities and verity of activity to engage in such as playing game group discussion societies. the environment here is truly welcoming with friendly staff and well-organized cafeteria. all the professors and other administration staff are supportive and active. seminar is organizing a campus' auditorium where all students interact with professor, engaged in debate and discussion on various topic.
Our college has good and very beautiful infrastructure classrooms buliding are well developed and canteen food are tasty and affordable, college provide library and wifi for students and various type of ground of students.
Indraprastha college is very good in academics every teachers are well educated and qualified in there own subject and they teach so well and provide extra classes for students. Many courses are available in our college.
Our college provide placement facilities for students and conducted interview for students and they are taking extra classes related to placement and many students did internship and jobs also during college days.
The infrastructure and surrounding of this college are very beautiful . It has a large playground , a tennis court , a swimming pool , and a badminton court . The college has a canteen too , where delicious dishes are available and are affordable .
Teachers are highly qualified and well - educated . Teaching quality is of a great level . One can easily crack a ny competitive exam by clearing concepts through learning from these teachers . They are quite difficult .
Placements are provided at the college after the 4th semester . Around 60 percent of the class got placed in various companies . Top recruting companies include Infosys , hcl , Deloitte , Accenture etc.
The library is the best place to go in the college. The entire 2-storey building is the place that gives solace. It is the only college after SRCC that has its own swimming pool. The new academic block rooms are comparatively bigger to accommodate more people.
Academics are the main focus of the college. The professors are focused and tend to pay attention to tutorials in which they tend to the doubts of the students. This is a common thing in IPCW. Tutorials are taken seriously.
The placements have taken pace now. Even Bain and company come for analyst roles to the college now. It is a good place where placements happen. S&M roles are usually sales-focused, though, by now. However, the prospects are good.
The college fees is lower because of the DU fee concession. It is higher than the other DU colleges. The prices in the canteen are also subsidized so the students can have good food at much lower prices.
The campus is not very far from the North Campus, so people can go on a spree and socialise even in their free time. Maju ka Tila is also minutes away, so it is quite feasible to go at any time.
My college's infrastructure is really cool. The buildings are big and beautiful, with comfy classrooms. I used to click a lot of pictures of my college. There's a nice library and a chill cafeteria. Wi-Fi is good but more power outlets would be awesome. The sports area is fun
I did Political science honors. Teaching was mostly good, some awesome, few meh. Professors cared and made it interesting. Curriculum was decent but updates were slow. Some subjects felt old-fashioned, needed more real world stuff. It was okay but could be better.
Placements were okay not everyone got placed. About 60% got jobs. Highest salary was for engineering, 6LPA. Average was 3LPA. Placement process was okay, not super easy. College support was there, but could be better.
Campus is cool, best part is greenery and chill spots. Cafeteria was the best hangout spot. Teachers are mixed, some great, some so-so. Support staff friendly. Location is central, convenient. Safety is decent, but more security would be nice.
It was a great experience. I had great bonds with my teachers.
The classroom sizes are too small as compared to the strength of students. Many times, students have to bring chairs from adjacent rooms. Otherwise, the lab apparatus and things required for co-curricular activities (like college societies) are top-notch. The library is the best among all the colleges of DU.
Teachers are amazing and knowledgeable. The DU syllabus is quite good and promotes radical thinking. There are various seminars and conferences in the college too, so the study isn't restrictied to prescribed syllabus.
PLacement opportunities are reasonable, though not very good. Opportunities for placement are anyway less ikn undergraduate courses like B.A., B.Sc. and B. Com. So, the college can't really be blamed for it.
The fee is less on account of the college being a government instution. The academics, cocurriculars and all the facilities are quite good. So, the money that goes in here is totally worth it. Hostel fee is high, but even that is worth it.
Being a girls' college, the entry is restricted to only girl students of other DU colleges in most of the fests, competetions and seminars, so the student count remains low. So, sponsors are less and fests are not that good, not anywhere close to the fests in most DU colleges. But the campus is perhaps the most beautiful among all DU colleges and the students here are brilliant. It's a pleasure to listen to the perspectives and views the students bring in.
Dear applicant it's great that you have so many options, however among all of them I would suggest you to choose Indraprastha College for Women, this college has great academic record, all the necessary facilities to make you feel comfortable and you will be under the guidance of very helpful faculties.
