Jesus and Mary College, Delhi Facilities

Jesus and Mary College facilities offer a soothing environment to the students pursuing various courses at the campus. A library, amphitheatre, cafeteria, multipurpose hall, and medical room are some of the JMC campus facilities. Furthermore, various departments of the institute have individual labs. Jesus and Mary College lab facilities are equipped with modern technology and help students in gaining practical knowledge. For this JMC has a playground used for multiple sports and also has indoor sports facilities. Jesus and Mary College sports facilities provide a platform for students who are interested in sports to showcase their talent. Medical/Hospital
The college has a medical room with basic first aid facility. The unique thing about JMC medical facility is the institute has vending machines for sanitary napkins.

Fully air conditioned library at Jesus and Mary College has a seating capacity of 220 students. The library has more than 50,000 books, 97,000 e-books, 5000 e-journals and many more study materials for the students.

Both indoor and outdoor sports facilities are available at the campus. JMC has one grassy field, volleyball court, 2 basketball courts, 3 tennis courts and 1 netball court. Furthermore, the institute has an indoor hall which includes wooden badminton court, table tennis and combative sports.

Jesus and Mary College has LCD projectors, an adequate number of systems with updated softwares, printers and scanners for students and faculty use.
Cafeteria
Keep in mind the diversity in students, JMC canteen serves multiple types of cuisine to students. Hygiene and nutritious food are provided to students at an affordable cost. The canteen at Jesus and Mary College is plastic free.
Auditorium
JMC auditorium is fully air conditioned with a seating capacity of 600 people. The auditorium is equipped with state of art infrastructure, has power backup, two green rooms and double floor seating.

College Infrastructure

College is too good , infrastructure, building , facilities are very good in this college . Classes to too good, there are almost 3-4 floors in every building and have lift in it for your convenience and there is garden and grounds and many more things which are totally outstanding.

College is good it's full of exposure.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure is actually better than many other colleges, however i feel basic necessities like AC, water coolers should be there. We only have 1 water cooler in the entire campus. Rest the infra is nice.

Jesus and Mary is fantastic facilities.

Is JMC college better than Gargi college for BA history Honors?

Hi,

I hope you are doing well.

JMC college and Gargi college both are absolutely wonderful in terms of education and infrastructural facilities, they both provide highly qualified lecturers which provide student best of their abilities and also a wonderful and a calm environment for students to study in .

The placement opportunities in the JMC college for BA history, is good & around 40-50% of students get placed in top companies in the placement cell. Highest package offered to a student recently was 3,00,000 lakhs per annum and on average students get placed with a package salary of 2,00,000 lakhs annum.

Top companies like Deloitte, KMPG, etc take part in the placement cell.

Gargi college has also good placements for its BA history batch students, maximum salary offered to a student recently was 5 lakhs per annum and on average students are placed with a package salary around 2-3 lakhs per annum.

Therefore, both these colleges are very similar in terms of education and placement opportunities. Hence, they both are great and you could go ahead with anyone among them.
