Classrooms are good because of the introduction of smart classes and flip learning. The problem lies in the laboratories. It needs maintenance, specially the electrical one and other core ones too. And also wifi isnt available everywhere.
I mostly attend classes. Teachers are really very helpful. Some students are from vernacular medium. When something like this, teachers also explain in hindi and bengali. I did not give it 5 because we are not taught softwares like MATLAB, Pspice, PSIM very well.
I havent been placed yet. So yes i would say that placement is pretty average. Placement for core branches in very poor. Placement cells also isnt very helpful. Highest package always goes to CSE branch.
Fees for 4 years is approximate 4,00,000. I havent stayed in hostel. I used to go from my home. So for me it was value for money. I would have rated it 5, if placements were good, because at least what matters is package.
I am an introvert kind of person. Got to know few people in college, who made me bit more confident in myself. The location is far from main city, but its very well connected with local trains and buses.
I am in last year right now. College infrastructure has improved a lot since the first year. Smart classes are there. Flip learning has been introduced. Classrooms literally look life cafe. The only issue is library. It is closed type.
It seems like teachers are helpful, but they are not able to help in many aspects. I have always been there in the robotics club. I represent it. But mostly I have to do many things myself. Teachers are good with curriculum.
I am from electrical department. Problems are always there with core department. Placement is always less. Less companies come. Those companies which come, provide very less package. The case isnt same with IT guys. This year many startups have also come for campusing.
I feel that ROI is good. The fees is very basic. Its approximately 4 lakhs for 4 years. Highest package was 10 lpa this year, from byjus. The facilities provided are also okayish. Afterall its a private college.
My campus has been above average. I have always been part of the events happening in the college. But sometimes, I get frustrated when they dont provide assistance. The management could have been more helpful.
The college infrastructure is pretty average. The campus area is not very large, it has an average campus area of 17 acres, however it does have all the required laboratories. The classrooms are also well maintained.
The academics of the college are good. Most of the faculties are PhD scholars who teach well. Some professors are not very good however and lack good teaching skills, bust most are good at their jobs. The syllabus has been revamped recently which is a good plus point.
The college provides pretty average placements. The students from CSE and IT departments do get good placements however, the core students do not have much hope. But most students do score good jobs from off campus placements.
The college provides average value for money. The semester fee is not very high, it is around 50,000/- excluding the hostel and mess fee which is not very high and like most other private colleges of West Bengal.
The campus life is pretty good, there is club for every field of interest. Events are organised from time to time and an annual tech fest is also organised. The teachers are really friendly and there is no issue of ragging on the campus.
Overall, the college is pretty good and a good choice if you are looking forward to taking admission in a private college of West Bengal. So, you can choose this college without a doubt as most of the students of this college end up in decent jobs.
The college infrastructure is well maintained and our labs are well equipped. All the classrooms have been upgraded as smart classes. The campus size is however not the largest. It is around 17 acres.
Most of the faculties are PhD scholars and some are really good at teaching and have a commendable command over their subjects. However, the method of teaching of some faculties tends to get monotonous. A positive aspect of our college's academics is that it is the first college in Asia to implement flip learning which is a really innovative idea. Since the college is autonomous the syllabus is constantly upgraded keeping in mind the industrial demands.
The college tries to give placement to all the students, hence the placement percentage is pretty high. However, the packages offered are not very high, especially in the core branches. The average package offered is around 3LPA.
The courses provided by the college are not very expensive. The semester fee is 50K per semester excluding the hostel and mess fee. The fee for TFW quota students per semester is around 6K making the college affordable for them. Hence the college does provide good value for money.
You will experience a great bond with the faculties and students here. Most of the faculties are really friendly and easy going. The seniors are also really friendly and helpful and there is a positive ambiance in the college.
Trust me you will have a really good experience in this college. You will get ample opportunities to polish your communication skills and develop your knowledge about technology. You will also get ample of industrial exposure.
The college has smart class rooms with good interiors and the overall college building is pretty well maintained. However, we don't have really well equipped laboratories. Also, like most private colleges of West Bengal, the campus area of the college is pretty small (about 17 acres).
Even though most of the professors and teaching staff have PhD degrees, they don't come across as good teachers as they lack proper teaching methodology and skills. One positive aspect however is that being autonomous our college has implemented flip-learning, making it the first college in Asia to do so. This is sure to have some positive impact on the academics of the students.
The college records show that the placement percentage is 100%. However, the reality is that most students get offered really average packages of around 3lpa. Also there is a strikingly low number of core companies that visit the campus for recruitment and mostly IT companies offer jobs. One positive aspect is that, this year more companies visited the campus if we compare it to the previous placement trends.
The college has a pretty average ROI. The average semester fee for B.Tech is around 50,000 (excluding the hostel and mess fee) making the college pretty affordable like most other private colleges of West Bengal.
The Campus life is pretty good. All the teachers are really friendly and helpful and there isn't any issue of ragging as most of the seniors are very friendly and chilled. The college is located in a quiet and peaceful area and is well connected through railways to the city. There are around four to five stations in close proximity to the college campus. All the necessities are available in and around the campus.
It is a pretty good option for students who are looking to enroll themselves in an engineering college in Bengal. You can be sure to leave this college with good experiences and memories and it is sure to be an overall good learning experience.
Some equipments are not available. Won't say that the facilities are bad, but its very very average. Needs improvement. Wifi facility is very bad at hostel. Library isn't that seating one type. Smart boards are there. Flip learning is used.
Most of the teachers lack the knowledge of English language. It becomes difficult for other state students. But the teachers are helpful. They guide you through every way of 4 years. We get to develop extra curricular skills.
Placement has been better this year. Package wasn't that good but the number of companies visiting were high. Mostly IT company comes for placement. Core companies are very very less. Also the package offered by core companies are very very low.
The course will cost around 1 lakh per year. The fees has increased recently because flip learning has been introduced. College is autonomous thus the curriculum is better than most colleges. Hostel costs 6000 every month.
The size of campus is small. But its beautiful. The infrastructure is above average. Teachers and other staffs are friendly. The location is far away from the main city which is both beneficial and problematic. But all over its safe.
I will always remember these 4 years. Explored what i want to do in my life. The overall experience has been good. This college has given me a confidence boost. Got an experience to interact with great people.
College infrastructure is good having playing ground and gym facilities. the campus have full wifi facilities and have different hostels for boys and girls. the college have well designed classrooms and in each classrooms there have projectorr and wifi facilities for presentation and we have smart boards which are well maintained. We do have a good living space and the food s are hygenic.
Iam studing BBA and the quality of teaching is pretty good and the teachers are very friendly and our academic curriculam is well updated and well developed in every fields. well college provides us grooming classes which helps us to get ajob.
well placement is average in BBA about 60% students get placed every year from the college. The highest salary obtained from our stream is 4lac PA. And in average we get 20-27 k. well placement is very pleasant to us and college is very supportive.
we pay 46000 per year which is very good as compared to other private colleges. In these fee we get good quality of education. As per money getting worth it, yes i am totally satisfied with the fee structure as in return we are having a good education.
well college campus is good the campus is beautiful having many things to explore it is a ragging free campus. The students, teachers, and other college staffs are very helpful and supportive to us. The location is in safe place and can handle all the emergencies.
