Our college infrastructure is great as we have college play grounds, great campus, high-tech labs and many more. Our building infrastructure is great as the classrooms, labs, staffroom, offices are all well designed and managed.
We have a great academic curriculum with intensely designed and dedicated subjects which helps us for both placements and for further studies. We have very proficient professors who helps us in our journey of these 4 years.
Our college placements are good but the recruitment in this year is not that good as recession time is going. Yet the packages with which the companies are providing is good and many various field of opportunities are being provided.
Our college provides high-tech labs with highly educated professors along with great management which helps all students to grow in their own way. So any students who have already studied in heritage can confirm that our college is the perfect example of value-for-money.
The best campus in my opinion any college can provide. We have all sorts of sports ground which helps us to grow physically. The campus itself is so beautiful to watch that i cannot explain it in words.
Best college ever.
The college has all necessary infrastructures such as labs, auditorium, classrooms, canteen and so on that ensure a mediate college life. Some classrooms have smart boards and smart features for ease of teaching and the college library is well maintained . The living spaces are clean most of the times and food is okayish as well .
The course I'm pursuing is Btech in CSE due to the good quality of placements in previous years. The quality of teaching is good with clarity in concepts and doubts and better understanding of concepts. The curriculum indeed is up to date and includes almost all recent developments making us ready to take on jobs when its time.
The college has been offering placement opportunities to students in every branch. About 96 percent placement is offered atmost and the highest package should be around 12 LPA offered to civil. The average salary is 6 - 7 LPA .
The course cost initially around 4 lacs however it was increased to about 6 lacs for 4 years. Though the increase was expected since long but the money is not too worth it .
The campus life is average with club activities and stuff occurring every now and then. The faculty and staff are supportive , the location being pretty good and quiet for a college. The college is safe and indeed able to handle emergencies efficiently .
The college building is segregated in accordance with departments of technology, overall its quiet well maintained, including girls hostels and colledge for degree courses along with arts stream courses ,it has well equiped labs, air conditioned library with internet connection
Im undergoing bachelors in civil engineering, the froffesors are very much dupportive when you are willing to give in the work, proffesors very much try to keep us updated with the updated codes or refferences..their curriculum is job ready
It depends on the students..and the TPO cell what copanies they are bringing in....overal we get above 90 percent placements . . . . . . . . . ... . . . .. . .
Due to certain circumstances..under west bengal govt the fees increased frm 46 k to 70k per sem...(merit entry). .
I really got into many clubs this college provide..drana,music,web devolupment..its quite engaging and begginer freindly..even proffesors support us in various clubs
Wont say the campus is huge. But yes, surely, it's bigger than IEM. There are 2 fields(boro math and choto math) and in total 3 buildings (CME, ICT, CB), all three... 5 storeyed, and well equipped and air conditioned Laboratories.
All the professors are well educated and highly experienced both academics and Industry Trained. They offer A Grade education. But one thing, the syllabus is a bit outdated. Not a problem of this college but a problem of all WB colleges.
Placement assistance from TPO is good. Although due to recession many companies stopped coming to our college and many other colleges of WB. But the curriculum and Syllabus of 3rd and 4th year of BTECH. are well equipped with Placements. This year 70% are placed with a CTC of 18LPA(in campus)
Overall, the college is a good college to kickstart your career. But there are certain loopholes in the administration of the college. They are at times rude and inconsiderate of sentiments and issues consering Students Mental Health and fests.
Our college prides itself on offering a robust & comprehensive infrastructure that caters to both academic & extracurricular needs. The facilities available are designed to support a conducive learning environment & provide a well-rounded college experience.
I pursued Electronics & Communication Engg and graduated in 2015. The quality of teaching in our program as well as other programs that my college offers is exceptional. The faculty members are highly qualified. The curriculum has always been well-structured and regularly updated to include the latest developments in the field of Electronics & Communication and highly focused on making students job-ready.
The quality of package at our college is great, reflecting the institution's commitment to ensuring students secure promising career opportunities. The college's strong industry connections and active placement cell play a crucial role in attracting top-tier companies from various sectors providing students with a wide array of job prospects. Approx. 90% of the students are successfully placed.
The college infrastructure is good. We have 3 main blocks divided by different departments. All the labs are air conditioned and classrooms are non AC. There is a big library too which is air conditioned also. We have a lot of playgrounds in our college. Air conditioned auditoriums. We are also provided wifi by the college that we can access using our identity as a student. There are no boys hostel only girls hostel in the campus. We have mess too but that is not so good at all and food is also average. Everything is good here.
I'm currently a fresher in computer science and business. The quality of teaching is also good here. I mean you'll definitely get to learn a lot and better in laboratories but theory classes are not in the list. Some teachers teach really good otherwise don't attend theory classes. Our curriculum is also updated and revised every year and yes I think it makes practically ready not just theoretically because a lot of students have been getting placed in good companies with increasing packages every year.
Mostly TCS comes in our college for placements. This year due to recession not a lot of placement took place but yet many of the students got placed with good packages. I have no idea about the highest package but a student from my own branch got 12 lpa this year. Also I think 80% of the students got placed this year. And the placement is alsoo low for core companies except cse, it they get good ones in core. Placement officers also help during placements a lot.
This college is pretty affordable as per my thoughts. Also if you are from Bengal then it's a plus point. You'll get tution fee waiver too. Since I'm not from Bengal I'm general for here. But if you're opting for hostel then it is expensive with nothing for you. You're just paying to live in a room that is also not too good. No facilities here and mess is not good also. My cost per year of college is around 80k.
Campus life is average. The campus is beautiful and ragging free with positive environment but no fests nothing for refreshments. Just study and study. If you just want to study and nothing else then go forr it but if you want to enjoy with studies then don't choose this college. Sports club is most active here and they keep organising sports events. Teachers are also very supportive and helpful except one or two.
I hope this college would hold fests too because it's really important to have refreshments from time to time.
Heritage institute of technology has one of the best infrastructure and his one of the best IT college in the Kolkata. It has great facility and a computerised library for PDF versions of books. The quality of food in the hostel is also very good the college also has a separate war for medical facility emergency purpose.
All teachers are very helpful. Most of them a very highly qualified. They are from the best iits in the country and also from Jadavpur University and Calcutta University. It is an autonomous college so the degree is provided by m a k u t. Yes it makes the student industry ready.
Almost 70% of the students get placed in our course. Top recruiting companies are Cape Gemini TCS and cognizant. Top roles offered for our course are technical analyst and consultant. The higher salary package offer in 15 lbs. The average salary packages around 6 lakhs per annum and lowest goes around 3 lakhs per annum.
Yes the colleges great value for money I graduated in 2021 and that time the fees was around 45k to 47k for first semester now it must be around 50 to 55k which I guess is ok for b.tech degree.
H i t has a great campus life events face and campus crowd etc is very good in our college just that the college should focus more on hands of experience. The college has more than 20 clubs wear students connectively participate to grow besides academics.
Song the college has a very good campus Wi-Fi facility a very well manage library very good laboratory and the latest design classroom there is also a college canteen which provide good quality food at affordable rate here. We have a football ground cricket ground a basketball court and space for indoor game like table tennis and carrom
Teacher are very helpful and all are qualified from very good and Renault University like j u and MIT and many more the courses curriculum is relevant and meet the student ready for the industry so all together it is awesome. I study related to electronic subject as I am a electronics student so the quality of teaching in electronics is quite good and it includes all the things which is used in nowadays at industries so makes the job ready for us.
Company like TCS Infosys wipro cognizant Capgemini and IIM are the topic router of this college a lots of us do intensive and job in Amazon cognizant TCS Wipro Nestle byju's emami biotech form etc. They pay around 4 LPA to freshers.
For 4 yrs btech the total cost will be around 3.5 lacs

Institute of technology library comprises of the central library MCA library and department and libraries under the faculty of engineering and technology. It is house in a large air condition hall of 20000 square feet of rocks with sufficient seating space for reading. It has a collection of 6152 titles 2295 subscriber journals and magazine and online subscription.
You are very helpful common most of them are highly qualified with good knowledge and are PhD holders. In civil engineering branch, there was lack of teacher last year but this year there are many teachers were joined and the way of their teaching are simple but very useful.
About 80% of the BTech CSE student got place during Heritage institute of technology placement 2022. The highest package was offered is 7.2 LPA lakh and the minimum salary was offered 10.5 LPA per annum.
The course cost for your is 2.5 to 3 lakh per annum.
It organises many cultural fest including many clubs which is important for CV. They have no hostels, Wi-Fi is available during working hours and they have a very good canteen.
College infrastructure is newly build and is well equipped with all the necessary facilities like wifi-enabled campus, smartboards in each classrooms etc. They also have well maintained library and sports centre.
Academic curriculum is well updated with Aictc norms and the faculty is also always supportive and welcoming whenever you need them. Quality of teaching is also good as the faculty is well experienced in their respective domains.
Placements at Heritage are good providing an average package of 7 LPA and highest package of 9 LPA. Quality of placement is also good as there are diverse roles offered during the drive. The placement process was easy and pleasant for me.

Choosing between Biotechnology and Civil Engineering depends on your interests and career goals. Biotechnology can offer exciting opportunities in research, healthcare, and pharmaceuticals, especially if you're passionate about biological sciences and innovation in life sciences. Civil Engineering, on the other hand, provides a more traditional engineering path with opportunities in infrastructure development and construction.
If you're interested in biotechnology and the field excites you, it could be a worthwhile choice. However, if you feel more inclined towards traditional engineering and the opportunities it presents, you might have considered civil engineering more suitable. Both fields have their merits, so it's essential to align your choice with your career aspirations and interests.
Hope it helps..
