There is no doubt that our college infrastructure is outstanding. There are separate buildings for each department of engineering and have multiple laboratories for practicals. Whole campus is wifi-enabled and classrooms have smart boards and projectors.
I am a student of Btech. (IT) and my whole department is appraising and helpful. All the teachers of our department undergoes regular trainings so that they can give their 100 percent in helping students.
As a student of final year i faced multiple interviews held at our college and there are many students who even grabbed more than one job. Average salary offered by these companies were around 4-5 lakhs per annum.
It is value for money deal on getting admitted to this college as any other private institutions of west bengal have comparatively higher course fees.
Campus life is quite beautiful as we have multiple cultural events which takes place around the year and also there are many sports activities too which takes place in our college.
I would recommend this college as it has a progressive environment and also the course fee is less which feels worthy with the facilities provided.
Fully equipped with infrastructure like computer labs, electronics lab, chemistry and physics lab for basic sciences, mechanical labs and machinery etc for providing not only theoretical but also practical experience. Quite large college campus, with canteen, wifi availability, hostels for both boys and girls.
Updated Curriculum with more emphasis on new technology used in industries. In addition, hands on experience with the help of trainings, excursions and one to one industry expert communication. Innovation clubs are set to provide platform for one's who have ideas which might lead to innovations.
Ample amount of alumni are working with renowned names all over the globes. In terms of percentage, a decent number of around 96% to 99% students gets placed with a good salary package. Not only brilliant minds, but placements of mediocre and weak students are also one of the primary goals of the institution.
Absolutely. The college provides quite a lot. Flipped learning, online classes, huge library, well equipped labs, placement support everything does absolute justice with the amount paid.
Co curricular activities, excursions, industrial visits etc are a part of curriculum. Students get regular motivation from faculties to develop and pursue hobbies in parallel with academics.
JIS College of Engineering have a well-maintained infrastructure including seperate buildings for each department, well organised laboratories with projectors, two huge auditoriums for events and two grounds for sports activities.
Academically this college can be rated average all the faculties are supporting and hard working. Now a days we also got a flip learning platform in our college where digital classes are conducted using projectors and e-learning platform.
Students are offered multiple job opportunities if they have proper skills they can secure more than one job for them. Average salary offered is around 3-4 lakhs p.a. Many kind of companies come to the college offering pool campusing opportunities.
The kind of facilities provided at this cost is remarkable. For btech the fees is around 70k per semester.
Campus life is quite good many cultural and sports activites takes place. All the staffs are helping and supporting. You will get attached to the college for sure.
I would recommend this college as it offers value for money courses and if a student is able to give required attention on their programs can also secure job/jobs for them.
Quite well quipped laboratories with decent number of tools, apparatus and computer systems.Lush green campus with smart classes, wifi availability around the entire campus. Happy place for a learner, for sure.mart
Curriculum incorporates new technology stacks. In house trainings, seminars, demonstration session, and in this lockdown situation webinars and e- classes are scheduled to cope with the studies and to keep a check on job - readiness of students. Plus, aptitude training facilities are also provided.
Pre- placement support and required trainings are commendable, which ensures that more than 95% to 97% students from all the departments gets placements. Even if a candidate has relatively lesser marks in 12th, the TNP ensures their placements in companies with no- marks criteria. In this corona crisis too, the TNP ( training and placement) cell is conducting digital hiring sessions for students.
Indeed. Compared to many institutions JISCE provides better quality education and surely deserves credit for value- for- money.
The college infrastructure is good and it is well maintained. The laboratories are also good but they do have some room for improvement. The hostels are good too but the food served is not that good. Overall the college campus is good.
The academics of the college are pretty average. Some proffesors are really good while others not so much. A point to remember is that our college is the first college in Asia to introduce flip learning which makes it stand out.
The college provides equal placement opportunities to all it's students and every one has an equal playing field. However decent packages are mostly offered to CSE and IT students only. The core branches don't get the best placements.
The college fee is really affordable. It is around 50k per semester excluding the hostel fee. TFW students have to pay very nominal fee of around 1000 rs per semester. So the college does provide good value for money.
I don't know about others. But my college years were amazing. I had friends for fun, I attended fests and now I am placed. Teachers are helpful and other staffs are helpful too. And the location is good. I reach using my bike.
Needs improvement. WiFi facility very bad at hostel. Flip learning is used.library is not that seating one type. Smart boards are available. Some equipments are not available. Faculty is good enough and they are very helpful.
Most of the teachers lack the knowledge of English language and it becomes very difficult for other state students to understand and communicate freely. They guide you through every way of 4 years. We get to develop extra skills.
Placement has been better this year. But the package is not good enough. Mostly IT companies comes for placement. Core companies are very much less and also the package offered by them is very much low.
The course will cost around 1 lakh per year. Hostel charge 6000 per month. The fees has increased recently because for flip learning classes. College is autonomous thus the curriculum is better than other colleges.
The size of campus very good and it's very beautiful rather than other colleges and higine also. The location is far away from main city which good and also bad. Overall campus is very good and teachers are friendly.
I will always remember this 3 years of B.Tech journey. The most beautiful campus , teachers and my batchmets they will remember everytime in my whole life
Infrastructure surely needs improvement. Laboratories nees to be maintained in time. But otherwise everything is good. The spaces are clean. Smart boards are there but mostly for lower sem students. Flip learning has been introduced.
Sometimes I understand what teacher teaches, sometimes I don't. So it completely depends on the teacher. But they ans your queries, anytime you ask. Whether the curriculum makes us job ready or not, its tough to say.
Core placements are very very poor. IT companies come and package is also average. But I don't wana go in IT company. And there are many students like me. Average salary is 3 lpa. Placement cell is helpful.
I am giving it 4 stars because the fees is average, not very high. Its 4 lakhs for 4 years. I would have even rated it 5 star, if the placement was good for core branch. Core placement needs improvement.
Many fests are held every year. I haven't been part of many. But its fun. Location is good. Its well connected. Basic items can ve found nearby easily. There are various shops, restaurants and markets.
Infrastructure is above average. Laboratories aren't well equipped. Library is closed type. But necessary books are there. Wifi facility isnt good. Smart boards are there. Our classroom was basic, but younger students enjoy flip learning in very well maintained classrooms.
I never thought of taking biomedical engineering. However, landed in this stream. But teachers made me like the subjects. Our department teachers are really very good and helpful. We have been the best department since many years.
I have been placed. But the package is very low. Couldn't expect anything better, because this stream of engineering is very new for India. But the placement cell is not at all helpful. Our HOD assisted while placement.
B.tech in biomedical engineering costs Rs 4,00,000 for 4 years. The fee is very average. But still won't say that its value for money because of the placement scenario in my department. Anyway, its a private college.
My 4 years has been boring. The only interesting part was my friends. Students can engage in many activities, but teachers mostly choose few students only. The location is bad. Its very far from the main city.
College infrastructure is okayish. There is just two busses available. So, it gets tough sometime. I used to stay in hostel. They food is not very hygenic, just okay. The taste is pretty bad most of the days.
Biomedical department is available in very few colleges. That's really a plus point, because I always wanted to do something in this field. My department teachers are too good. There are few students in my dept. Thus, teachers know students well.
Our department is pretty new for Indian market. I have been placed. But this is because of my HOD and not placement cell or management. They don't even care about our department. But at least our teachers are very helpful.
Private colleges are costly. My college is also pvt, but the fees is okay. Its around 4 lakhs for 4 years. I could have rated 'value for money' higher, if college placement cell would have really assisted for placement.
I have been part of many happenings in the college. Be it any fest or seminars or just wall magazines. The location is okay. Its well connected, but still far from the main city. And yes, not all kinds of emergencies can be handled well.
I am from electronics department. Our laboratories are not very well equipped. The wifi service isnt good. Library is closed one. I stay in hostel. The food isn't very hygenic. And the taste of food is really very bad.
The curriculum isn't updated. But this is case with every other college in this country. Quality of teaching can be improved upto great extent. I had to become job ready myself. So it would say its pretty average.
I am from electronics department. I have been placed in marketing field. But the package is okay for starting. But I have always wanted to work in my core sector. But still its good. Placement is good for IT sector.
Fees of college is 4 lakhs for 4 years. Fees of hostel is 33k per sem. According to my package, I can say that its value for money. But, this may not be for everyone. Value for money can be increased by better placements.
Campus life is very very basic. There are not many events happening. Tech fests are also basic. And theres nothing like cultural fests. The location is good. It is very well connected with other places.
Hello Aspirant,
I would recommend you Narula Institute Of Technology as it's better than Jis college of engineering. Narula Institute Of Technology provides students with great infrastructure and an pleasant environment for studies. Talking about placements 70-75% students get recruited by top recruiting companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Infotech, Infosys etc with the highest salary package offered in record is 10 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 2.4 LPA.
