Jubilee Mission Medical College and Research Institute (JMMCRI), Thrissur, is a prestigious medical college in Kerala, India. The college offers different undergraduate, postgraduate, and super-specialty courses in various medical streams. JMMCRI's admission process is in a way that it chooses the most talented and worthy candidates through national-level entrance exams.
The admission procedure at JMMCRI typically begins in the first quarter of the year, with the entrance examinations in May and July. The academic year begins in August or September. Admission to undergraduate courses is through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) as the exclusive mode of entry. Eligibility is different for each program. For MBBS, the candidate should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as mandatory subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST/OBC candidates). Postgraduate candidates must be MBBS graduates from a recognized university with an internship completed.
Application Process
Application procedure differs for various courses at JMMCRI:
For MBBS:
1. Should pass in NEET UG with the specified percentile.
2. Should participate in the state-level counseling procedure.
3. Fill up the online application form by providing accurate personal and academic details.
4. Upload the documents as specified, like NEET UG score card, 10+2 mark sheet, and other certificates as required.
5. Online application fee.
6. Attend counseling according to the date and time assigned.
7. If a seat is assigned, report to JMMCRI for document verification and admission process.
For MD/MS Programs:
1. Clear NEET PG with the qualifying percentile.
2. Become registered for All India Quota (AIQ) counseling or state counseling, as the case may be.
3. Fill up the online application form for the chosen specialization in JMMCRI.
4. Upload mandatory documents, like NEET PG score card, MBBS degree, internship completion certificate, and other certificates as applicable.
5. Pay online application fee.
6. Appear in the counseling process as per the schedule.
7. If shortlisted, go through the admission process at JMMCRI, including document verification and fee payment.
For DM Courses:
1. Pass NEET SS with the required percentile.
2. Register for the centralized counseling process for super-specialty courses.
3. Fill in the online application form for DM Neurology or DM Cardiology at JMMCRI.
4. Upload compulsory documents, including NEET SS score card, MD/MS degree, and other allied certificates.
5. Pay online application fee.
6. Report for counseling according to schedule.
7. In case selected, report to JMMCRI for final admission formalities.
Degree wise Admission Process
MBBS: JMMCRI offers 100 seats in MBBS. Admission is on the basis of NEET UG ranks. The candidates should pass NEET UG and undergo the counseling process of the state. The selection is completely merit-based, as per the NEET UG rank and reservation policies applicable.
MD: There are 31 seats in 12 MD specializations. The admissions are done based on NEET PG ranks. The specializations include General Medicine, Paediatrics, Anesthesiology, Pathology, Radiodiagnosis, Microbiology, Emergency Medicine, Psychiatry, Community Medicine, Dermatology, Venereology and Leprosy, Respiratory Medicine, and Physiology. The seats are 1 to 4 for each of the specializations.
MS: JMMCRI has 11 seats in 4 MS specializations: Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Orthopaedics, ENT, and Ophthalmology. Admissions are through NEET PG, followed by counseling. Seat allocation is between 2 to 4 per specialization.
DM: The institute is offering super-specialty courses in Cardiology with 3 seats and Neurology with 4 seats. Admission is on NEET SS basis, following counseling procedure. Should have already obtained their MD/MS in the same department for eligibility.

Candidates who have obtained a diploma in nursing or who have completed a class 12 biology course are eligible to apply for B.Sc Nursing. A bachelor's degree in nursing is a four-year undergraduate programme.
There are various universities offering this course you can join the top institutions through the entrance test through the JIPMER, AJEE, SAAT, DSAT, CENTAC, AUAT, IUET, ITM NEST, IGNOU OPENNET and few institutions can take on merits.

for merit list The fee structure is around 7 lakhs per annum for 4.5 years
1.Previously the admissions were on medical entrance exam but now admission is through NEET - which is a national level entrance exam)
2.Allotted by state entrance commissioner
NRI seats are at around 85 lakhs for the whole mbbs course.Also, admission is only based on merit.
