The placement and training (PAT) office at Jyothi Engineering College Thrissur trains candidates and provides them with employment opportunities. It provides classes for skill-based training and soft skills like communication skills, group discussions, debate sessions, resume preparation, and mock interviews. Jyothi Engineering College not only provides job offers and training but also supports entrepreneurial ventures of students.

The Jyothi Engineering College Innovation and Entrepreneurship Development Cell (IEDC) approves and promotes promising student concepts to the Startup Centre. Under the guidance of the Career Development Cell (CDC), the JEC placement and training cell also provides career counselling to students. As per the JEC Thrissur NIRF 2024, Nearly 136 students were placed with Rs 3.4 lakhs and 3 PG students has been placed by the JEC Thrissur with a median salary package of Rs 3.25 lakhs.
