Kamla Nehru College of Pharmacy, Nagpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College provides accommodation to girls in the hostels at Butibori and Nagpur with all basic and modern amenities including a Mess, TV cum dining room, Housekeeping service, solar water heater, rooms with attached toilets, and ample space for parking.

The College library is the resource hub for knowledge and has a vast collection of books, journals, magazines, and periodicals. The library has facilities such as Autolib software and OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) which is used by students & faculty for the search of books by title/ author name etc. Separate reading room is available for undergraduate, and postgraduate students and teachers. A separate e-library is also available with facilities such as subscriptions for e-journals, and e-books. The learning process is supported by a rich and voluminous library with an all-time internet facility for students and staff. Our library is supported by more than 10000 textbooks, references, books, national/international journals, periodicals, and other readable articles online through the internet.

The college has sports facilities for all students.

The college has a PC with Latest Configuration updated with all the required software for research purposes and connected through a LAN network.

The College Canteen facility is also made available at college premises providing hygienic and wholesome food, snacks, Tiffin facility for students.

The College We have a separate Seminar Hall for the regular delivery of seminars, group discussions, debates, and guest lectures. The seminar hall is well equipped with a digital multimedia podium/lectern with inbuilt sound and audio-visual facilities for effective deliberations, LCD projectors, display screen, LAN connectivity, Wifi facility, CCTV, and digital camera for virtual lectures from remote places.

College bus facility is available to and fro from various pickup points from Nagpur to Butibori.

Students along with the bus in charge avail this facility starting from Nandanwan and then traveling through the decided route which includes major stops like Dighori Square, Manewada Square, Narendra Nagar Square, Somalwada Square, and then to College. Total seating capacity 55.

The facility is also extended for visits to industries, research institutes, survey camps, etc.

The College Laboratories are well planned, spacious, organized, and well equipped. A central instrumentation room and machine room facility is developed for undertaking laboratory scale and pilot-scale studies.
