The case load was good..We were the second batch there so the accomodation and duty PG rooms were not comfortable and the working style was too hectic..The equipments and resources weren't matching with the patient inflow

Academics

As any medical graduate would know by now postgraduates do tend to work a lot with no time for proper academic teaching..People were more concerned about making the system function rather than teaching us

Placements

Exposure was good but we had hectic duty schedule and proper follow up was difficult but by the time we came out of the course we were confident enough to manage most of the cases including emergencies

Value for Money

We worked like hell for the meagre stipend but since that is the way most of the government medical colleges function we were ok with that..The pediatric Icu and ward is all renovated now and I guess it's more worth now

Campus Life

We were mostly in the wards and with the patients...Way back when we studied there was no proper canteen and a very small tea shop is what we all had... Transport from hostel to hospital was difficult but once they gave us accomodation inside the hospital that got better
