Yes definitely, every college allows mobile phone in hostel. Hardly any college you will find, that do not allow mobile phone.

Both the colleges are private owned institutions.In terms of placement,  Sri Ramakrishna Institute of Technology would be a better option.Many reputed companies visited  the campus and recruited a lot of students.

Also in Karpagham college nearly 70% of the students get placed in c ompanies like Amazon, Hexaware, Infosys, Many companies also visit the campus for placements. Most of the Students here are placed with the salary packages of 3 LPA. in the starting. The college also has very good infrastructure compared to other colleges in Coimbatore. This college is very good for hardwaorking students. Have a great faculty which always help students. Also placement is one thing which attract students always, as it provide good placement to students every year. Daily placemnt traning are conducted among students which helps them a lot. Around 90 percent students got placed every year.

So if you wanted to take admission in this than you can take without any tention. Just do hardwork and you will get placed.
