Degree wise Admission Process

B.Sc Nursing: Undergraduate program for four years. Seats allocated in the programme - 60. Merit-cum-performance in entry qualification. The qualification is 10+2 with science and any entrance exam as mentioned by respective institutes or the state nursing council.

Post Basic B.Sc Nursing: It is designed for registered nurses who want higher qualifications. The seats are 40. GNM or its equivalent qualification holder can join the institute for this course.

M.Sc Nursing: There are several specializations of M.Sc Nursing available in the institute. All of them have a strength of 5 seats only:

M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing

M.Sc Community Health Nursing

M.Sc Paediatric Nursing

M.Sc Obstetrics and Gynaecological Nursing

M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing

These courses are generally based on the merit of a candidate in B.Sc Nursing and any entrance exam conducted by the institute or state authority.

GNM General Nursing and Midwifery

This is a diploma course. There are about 50 intakes. Admission is usually on the basis of performance in 10+2 examination with science subjects.
