Krishna Engineering College, Bhilai (KEC Bhilai) is one such college whose good reputation is based on various engineering programs. Admission for undergraduate engineering courses is carried out based on merit. KEC Bhilai offers two main channels for admission: the State Quota and the All India Quota.
In a State quota, a candidate has to qualify in the Chhattisgarh Pre-Engineering Test (CG PET) conducted by the Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board. Degree wise Admission Process
Admission Process for B.Tech programmes: KEC Bhilai has four full-time B.Tech (BE) courses. Each of the undergraduate courses typically lasts for four years. Admission to all B.Tech courses is through CG PET or JEE Main, depending on under which merit criteria the candidate is applying. The B.Tech courses offered by the college are:
1. B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats)
2. B.Tech in Civil Engineering (60 seats)
3. B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (30 seats)
4. B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (30 seats)
Basic eligibility for all B.Tech programs is 10+2 Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
