Krishna engineering college have developed infrastructure. All classroom have projecter and smart board both. College have a big library in which 200 people can stay at one time. Full campus have wifi network with high speed.
The faculty is well-qualified, ensuring a good quality of teaching and support for students. KEC provides undergraduate and postgraduate programs, primarily focused on engineering disciplines such as Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics, and Electronics and Communication Engineering.
Krishna engineering college has a decent placement record, with companies like Amazon, Wipro, and TCS among the top recruiters. The highest package offered is around INR 12.5 LPA, and the average package is about INR 3.5 to 4.5 LPA. I had done internship with coding ninja from this college.
The infrastructure of this college is so beautiful.Condition and maintenance of classrooms, labs , libraries and sports ground is on time. This college has an adequacy of space for various activities like sports,Cultural Function.Wi fi facility is available on college campus. The living space are clean and the food hygienic.
I have completed my bachelor's in technology in machanical engineering from here.Quality of teaching is very good. This college is known for academic excellence and curriculum was updated as per New education policy 2020 That is helpful for us.
The quality of placement of this college is good.Placement facilities are available for only professional courses. The college is supporting their students for every process. As per my knowledge the average package of the students in professional courses is 15 lpa.
Faculties are very supportive.
Our college have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Have separate departments for every courses and have all necessary equipment and have separate labs for every subjects. Our college is provided with a proper WIFI network of an average speed. College premises is very neat and clean and very well maintained.
We are studying around 40 subjects in total in our overall B.Tech course and overall academics faculties are very well educated and qualification. They taught us each and every topics related to the subject and i can claim that according to me we are provided by the best teachers of their respective subjects.
Quality of placements at our college is average. Descent amount of companies arrives in our college and average amount of students got placed. The highest salary package is around 14LPA and average package is around 4-5 LPA.
My whole course cost me around 4-5 lakhs.
Our college's infra was quite impressive. The college embraced modern technology, making the learning experience more dynamic and engaging. The well equipped labs and libraries were instrumental in enhancing our academic journey. The college canteen was a favourite spot, offering a variety of delicious food options. The auditorium providing a great venue for events and seminars. However, there is room for improvement. The sports ground need attention, and the hostel food quality could better.
Krishna Engineering College boasts an excellent. academic environment. The faculty, a mix of young and experience educators, provides valuable insights and support. The teachers are not only knowledgeable but also approachable, making learning a rewarding experience. Their guidance was instrumental in academic journey.
This college offers decent opportunities with companies like Tech Mahindra, Infosys, JK Technosoft, and many more. However, the placement process seems biased, favoring high-achieving students over others. It's an average college experience with room of improvement in ensuring fairness in placements. Also, they provides aptitude and personal development classes for all students at last stage.
Krishna Engineering College offers good value for money with room of improvement. While it provides a decent college experience, the relatively high annual fees of approx. 1 lakh and hostel costs of around 65,000 per year might be a concern for some. However, the education and facilities do justify a portion of the expenses, and with some enhancements, it could offer even better value in the future.
In our time, campus life at our college was great. It was more about quality than quantity in admissions. We had a blast in the canteen, gardens, and playing games. However, it seems the recent focus on quantity over quality in admissions may be affecting the current campus experience. The college's location was favorable, with nearby markets, but it was a bit distant from crowded area, providing a balance between convenience and tranquility.
Overall, a positive experience with a balance of mix of faculty, and a convenient yet peaceful location. It has room for improvement in placement processes and admission standards but remains a good choice for comprehensive college experience.
Standard classrooms in colleges include desks, chairs, a podium, whiteboards or blackboards, and audio-visual devices like projectors. They also have seating arrangements for students. Library: The college has a library with a selection of printed materials, scholarly periodicals, and online sources. It features computer facilities, study spaces, and seating for students. Laboratories: Basic scientific and computer labs with the hardware, software, and computers required for hands-on.
KEC offers a variety of courses that are in line with the discipline being studied while adhering to a set curriculum. This covers prerequisite classes, mandatory subjects, and elective choices. Teaching Techniques: Lectures, presentations, conversations, labs, projects, and assignments are frequently used to offer instruction. Technology and multimedia are being used more and more successfully in the classroom.
Job Readiness Programs: To help students get ready for interviews, drafting resumes, and other areas of the job search process, colleges provide job readiness programs, workshops, and seminars. This will improve students' employability.
Yes,Our college have all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Facilities are Smart board for good visual presentation ,proper labs for practising , Updated library and helping teacher with appropriate knowledge. Overall we can say that all things are well maintained. Campus is good and full hygienic and there are 2 canteens one is mini and one is large and space for sitting.
I am studying because teachers are so friendly and good who can help u anytime. Teaching Quality is good . Yes,our college curriculum is updated and we are following. Practising constantly on our goal makes our knowledge more updated and give confidence.
Quality of placement is better than before because our HOD is head of placement cell. 70% students are placed and highest package goes on 7 lakh per month for computer science student.Minimum salary provided is 60000 and yes college is supportive.
Total amount for per year about 1 lakh .Yes , i feel it is worth it. Because college that space for working on our skills and provide facilities too. They organise competition and quiz to boost our confidence.
Campus is good no doubt and we have different societies for different activities like Raag Society for singing , Regal for Dancing etc...There are student coordinators with teacher who handle all event.Location for organising is auditorium and Yes, it is safe and they can handle in emergency.
Yes, college belongs good because of students. Extra quiz competition and course for any programming language is given who are interested.
The college infrastructure is average from outside but the class are overall good. There are 3-4 building in which 2 building are in good conditions other than that rest building conditions are below average. My college library is the best thing in the college but in case of sport there is not a single ground this is playable for sports. Hostels are overall average but I don't know much about the food hygienic.
I am studying Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering just because of curiosity and interest in this field. Some of the teachers are not so good but some are very excel in their field. The course curriculum is very good according to the today technologies also I think skills are most important than degree.
I don't know much about placements but I can say that an average of 90% students get placed from our college. The average package is around 4-5 lakh and the highest package is approx 14 lakh from CSE branch. The placement process was according to the company some are hard while some are average. The college are overall average in case of supportiveness towards placements.
I would it say it a value for money college while other college fees are more than 1lakh and also their locations are not so good according to the transportation. This college location is very good means you can get access to easily transport from the college.
The campus life is according to the students and also to the infrastructure. In my opinion the campus life in this college is average the teachers and staff are good and also the staff are overall good. Students are engage in some sports activities and also some minor fests. The location is good and safe but it can handle emergencies or cannot sometimes according to the condition.
It would say it is an overall above average tier 3 college because of some facilities and instructors.
yes in the college all the facilites are there like as libraries ,hostel and it is well maintained.the quality of food is nice.the infrastruture is very good, lot of space is there.overall a very good facilites
currently i am studying computer science engineering, the teaching quality is very good all are experienced faculties.the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field.practical knowledge also given
the average salary offered is 4-5LPA .placement process is easy and pleasant the college staff is supportive .The Quality of placemnet in the college is good almost 70% of students got placement the highest offered is 12LPA
College have all necessary facilities like library, sports ground, laboratories , classrooms, hostels with WiFi and many other others. The building is well build and maintained. The living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
I am studying in the department of Information Technology. All the teachers here are well educated and knowledgeable. They are very supportive to all students and try their best to help students in all manners.
I am 1st year student. Almost 80% of the students got their internship through college. The package depends on their capability. According to my knowledge the highest package of this year was 15 lakh. College organise all the best companies to recruit 4th year students.
My course cost approx 1 lakh per year. I feel my money getting worth because of the studying pattern of the college.
Campus life is cool. All the extra activities whether it is related to the cultural or educational are provided .
Overall college facilities are all good.
College do not have all the facilities which are necessary for engineering student, Wi-Fi facility is available but it does not give it very good speed, library is available but Book bank is not available even it is available so these books are useless for me not only for me for all the students who are studying here, smart board is available in auditorium seminar hall and laboratories, living campus is clean but food is not hygienic even it is not tasty,
I am doing BTech in electronic and communication engineering,, because I got my goal and mind set in the area of electronic engineering, college is not working for recent developments in technical and all other fields, study is making us able to crack theory exam but it is not making us able to crack interview and job exams, we are studying outdated syllabus theory when they are not focusing on the practical approach which is important for engineering student.
Placement quality of the colleges average and quantity of the placement is very good they place hundred percent student for computer science in engineering even the placement quantity for branch is 80 to 90%, big companies come in the college even AKTU is also providing many big companies for pool placemen, HIGHEST SALARY PACKAGE TILL NOW OFFERED IS 12 LAKH RUPEES PER ANNUM, and average you can have 5 to 6 lakh rupees per annum.
There is good value for money the course cost me 90 1000 rupees per annum as tuition fee even it includes 69000 rupees per annum for hostel charges is also included in this charges, yes I feel I am getting my money work for me because I am getting knowledge and I am going to place.
campus life is average I think all the things which I am seeing here is the best feature of the college and the first feature is a college staff, sometimes they support you sometimes they not support you, College location is in the Mohan Nagar, it is in the marketplace so you can handle your all emergency if you want to buy something for emergency then market is available you can go, yes it is safe.
Overall I would say the colleges good and it is recommendable for you.
Dear Student,
Numerous employment options are made available to college seniors. In order to guarantee that students have access to sufficient employment options, the college set up a placement cell in 1998. The placement cell of Kongu Engineering College keeps in touch with numerous businesses and invites them to hire students. It oversees all of the placement-related operations at KEC Erode. The placement cell offers technical training to students in order to help them develop their soft skills. The placement also arranges online assessments for pupils to enhance verbal, logical, and quantitative aptitude. The placement cell also provides internship possibilities to non-final year students in addition to placements. Internships expose students to corporate work environments and cultures, which ultimately improves their chances of being hired for a position in the fourth year.
Around 220 organisations participated in placements, according to the official Kongu Engineering College placement report 2019–20. The participating businesses submitted a total of 1325 offerings. As many as 1043 students were placed in KEC Erode's placements for 2019–20.
