Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT), situated in Jabalpur, is an AICTE-approved college and conduces several courses in technical and management streams. The college has a rigid admission policy that is mainly merit-based with respect to national-level examination scores. The process of admission to LNCT Jabalpur is generally under the timelines of national-level entrance examinations into engineering and management. The B.Tech programs are offered following the JEE Main examination, whose dates are generally announced by January through April for application; the JEE Main examination is conducted in January and April, and results are generally declared by May.

Degree-wise Admission Procedure
B.Tech: It runs five B.Tech programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, Mechanical Engineering, and Mining and Mineral Processing. These programs are primarily JEE Main-based for admission. The college has an intake of 60 seats each in Civil, Computer Science, AI & ML, and Mechanical Engineering.
MBA: The college offers an MBA program with an intake of 180 seats. Specific admission procedures have not been talked about, but it can be presumed that an entrance exam score, probably followed by a round of an interview/group discussion, is what works.
M.Tech: For M.Techs in Structural Engineering and Mining Engineering, the college conducts a course-wise intake of 30 seats each. Admission is generally GATE based; however, other parameters lay ahead.
Diploma: The diploma programs include Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mining and Mines Surveying, and Electrical Engineering.
