Libra College of Law, Dehradun, is one of the constituent colleges which are recognized by the Bar Council of India for the imparting of legal education. It has a variety of law programs ranging from undergraduate to postgraduate levels. It is designed to filter out qualified candidates for the various law programs offered at Libra College of Law.

Eligibility for the undergraduate programs BA LLB and LLB depends on completion of 10+2 from a recognized board. On the contrary, an applicant for an LLM program should hold a postgraduate degree with a bachelor's degree in law (LLB or equivalent) from a recognized university.

Application Process

Degree-wise Admission Process

BA LLB: This is a 5-year integrated program offered by Libra College of Law. The course has an approved intake of 60 students. Eligibility generally requires completion of 10+2 from a recognized board. The total fee for the BA LLB program is Rs 325,000.

LLB: This undergraduate law program spans 3 years and has an approved intake of 60. Passing generally makes candidates with bachelor's degrees in any discipline eligible to apply. The total fee for the LLB program is Rs 195,000.

LLM Programs: Libra College of Law offers four specializations in LLM, each taking one year to complete:

2. LLM Corporate Law
3. LLM Business Law
4. LLM Criminal Law

For all LLM programs, candidates must graduate from LLB or equivalent degrees.  Admission into these programs may be based upon a combination of the candidate's performance in their LLB degree and some portion of possibly interviewing
