Lingaya's GVKS Institute of Management and Technology, Faridabad Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Lingaya's GVKS Institute of Management and Technology (LIMAT) is an affiliate college. It is located in Faridabad, Haryana. The institute offers undergraduate engineering programs and adopts the admission process mainly on the grounds of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main results. The admission process for LIMAT is in accordance with the JEE Main schedule. The JEE Main Admit Card for the academic year will be out between January 19, 2025, and January 31, 2025. The dates are a matter of great significance for the admission process for budding students. It is the JEE Main examination that holds the highest consideration for taking admission into the LIMAT for B.Tech. This national-level examination tests candidates' fundamentals of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Therefore, for students willing to get admission into the institute, JEE Main requires thorough preparation, focusing on the syllabus and old question papers.

Application Process

The application process for Lingaya's GVKS Institute of Management and Technology will consist of:

1. JEE Main Examination: The candidate must attempt the first JEE Main exam to be held by the National Testing Agency (NTA).

2. JEE Main Result: After the declaration of the JEE Main results, the eligible candidates would start the application process for LIMAT.

3. Application Form: The prospective candidates will visit the official LIMAT website to fill up the online application.

4. Document Submission: Applicants have to submit the required documents, which generally are:

•  JEE Main score card
• 10th standard mark sheet
• 12th standard mark sheet
• Character certificate
• Transfer certificate
• Migration certificate (if applicable)
• Category certificate (for reserved categories)
• Passport-size photographs (recent)

5. Application Fee: Payment of the application fee through the prescribed method.

6. Counselling Process: Shortlisted candidates may be called for the counseling process for the verification of documents and option of preferred branch based on the JEE Main rank and availability of seats.

7. Seat Allotment: Seats will be allotted to the candidates deemed successful based on the counseling process.

8. Fee Payment: Fee payment by the candidates to confirm their admission against the allotted seat.

9. Final Admission: Upon successful completion of the above steps, final admission will be granted to candidates in the B.Tech program alloted to them.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech Programs: LIMAT has four full-time B.Tech programs for a period of four years:

1.  B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering (120 seats)
2. B.Tech Electronics and Communication Engineering (120 seats)
3. B.Tech Civil Engineering (60 seats)
4. B.Tech Mechanical Engineering (60 seats)

The admission process for all B.Tech programs is mostly based on the score of the JEE Main exams. Those candidates who are qualified in JEE Main are eligible to apply for these said programs. For all the B.Tech programs combined, the institute has a total intake of 360 seats.

Though the individual admission processes may not be explained for each program, it could reasonably be assumed that the competitive merit system generally operates, which is in favor of the performing student in the JEE Main and maybe through any other process set forth by the institute or the affiliating university.
