The college has a good campus area and its infrastructure are quite old.all the equipments are present in the labs and the facilities are well qualified. Libraries are well maintained in the hostels are well cleaned and hygienic food is prepared for the students. Also the Wi-Fi availability is quite good in hostels.
I am studying electrical engineering. The faculty in electrical branch is very good. The curriculum is updated but the students are not aware of the recent developments as of such. Study makes us job ready as well as for the preparation of GATE.
Placements are not that good in this college. Almost 30 to 40% students are placed. The highest salary package was offered to CSE branch was 11 lacs per annum. Average salary for electrical is 20 to 30k. the placement process is very pleasant and the facilities are very supportive along with the college members.
MITS , is a great option for pursuing your bachelor's , even with low JEE MAINS Rank. The College is runs under JYOTIRADITYA SCINDIA'S Management & has all necessary infrastructure , facilities & Equipment , talking for any branch. The Faculties are Really very good , if u will to have a strong technical part . Almost all classes have a SMART CLASS TEACHING ASSISTANCE . Library, Hostel are well maintained , but food is not upto the Mark. Living spaces are cleaned on regular basis. Cheers✓✓
I am Studying ELECTRICAL ENGINEERING From this College , because of love towards physics since class 10th . Quality of teaching is Good here , & teachers give their Max. To us. The Curriculum is up to date & includes all the recent developments in the field. Time to time Industrial visits make it more good , & particularly help you to be job- ready.
Placement in MITS has been average. Bulk of Companies come & They take students. But Considering the percentage of it , it's about (40-50)% . The HIGHEST PACKAGE OFFERED here was , 10 lpa , by a product selling company. Average salary offered is around 30k/month. I have talked to Many seniors & basically they enjoyed sitting in placements, while college being supportive all the TIME.
My Course Costs 60k per year , but this has been increased in 2019. I feel am getting my money worth , since teachers are so helpful & always try to give you best & keep engaging us in some or other good Activities.
Canpus life Is GOOD. Places like Canteen , Amul Parlour , Nescafe are an attraction to students & in 2020 an OPEN GYM has been opened in college , which adds more to it. The only thing we don't like is the CAMPUS is not that big enough & people are limited to it. You can various dance , music , art club to be engaged. People here are not that much good , since mosti are from GWALIOR itself. Loaction of college is Good & campus can handle all emergencies well.
Overall its a good college with low JEE MAINS rank , & most importantly its an GOVERNMENT AUTONOMOUS INSTITUTION & reputable in MADHYA PRADESH.
College has good infrastructure ,. Very well built. But it ghas a old infrastructure . Corridor are well cleaned anx cleanliness of the campus it very mucch up to the mark ... Wifi is available for the students

I was a student of bechlor of engineering information technology branch quality of teaching is good and teachers are well educated curriculum is not so updated as it is affiliated by Rajeev Gandhi prodhokigi vishvidhyalya
Placements for information technology branch and computer science branch are quite good almost 60-70 percent students are placed in top companies with medium salary packages like tcs, wipro, accentuate and infosys
Collage fees is quite high around 80000 per year
Campus Life is good
Infrastructure of college is too good. Most of the money is invested in the infrastructure of the college. I think MITS has te best infrastructure in all MP. The campus is all full of greenery and there are different grounds around the campus.

Placement of the college are also good. In comparison of many other government college of MADHYA PRADESH this college has overall good campus placement. Most of the seniors are placed with good package.
The fees of the College is bit high for the middle class students. It costs around 80k per year. The hostel fees are other. As I do not live in hostel as I am a day scholar. Rest of the info is provided on the college website

Current curriculum is updated and includes all latest development in the field.

College is best in gwalior in terms of Placements of students.Quality of placement is quite good.many good companies visit college for recruitment drives.Around 50-60 % of students are placed every year through campus drive with average package of around 4-5 lakhs per annum.
Campus life is above expectations. The environment a student gets here is soothing.Apart from studies a student may do many recreational activities here.I will suggest to take hostel facilities if one needs to enjoy life at fullest.
collage infrastructure was good, equippeped withall facilities and equipmets hostels are clean had food facilities was also good several other food options are also there outside hostel, labs have latest instruments and they keep them updated time to time
i was a student of information technologythere, teachers are well qualified and help out student to solve there queries as well , as it is affiliated by rgpv bhopal so curricillum is same as all other engineering collages,
placements are only limited with service based companies as tcs,Wipro,Infosys and students are also informed for Any pool camus happening in the city of state but for core branches placements are limited
despite being an autonomous collage and government-aided institution it is not at all value for money the course fees was 80000 per year excluding hostel and all other expences which is higher than some private collages in he state
collage campus was good and several activities took place several extra curricular activities, students and staff was supportive and collage was also situated in the heart of the city
College campus is beautiful,it is equipped with WiFi connectivity, and a big library.labs has all the necessary apparatus, they provide sports facilities too, living area is clean, their hostels are also very cean.
Academics is good,I have done my m.tech from the branch computer science and engineering from this college, teachers are helpful and experienced.you will have to approach teachers for clearing your doubts.
Placements are good, companies visit our campus for placement but it is not 100%, laborious and hard working students get the placement easily, they take soft skill classes and teaches student how to be professional.
This college is not so costly,my semester fees was approx 60,000,I got my money worth because they provided all the necessary facilities, they make us job ready, professional, technically sound so when you think about these things you will understand that this fee is not high.
Campus life is amazing,I used to be a day scholar so I did not spend much time inside the campus but people over there are so friendly, they host grand fest and celebrate all the festivals. My campus life was amazing.
My admission was taken on the basis of my gate score.
Infrastructure is good, but the labs are a little disappointing but not bad. Spacious classrooms, labs, library has space to study and a computer room to study e-journals. Campus is clean and well maintained.
I'm in first year of BTech in IT. The teachers are average. Many of them are ex students of this college. Not good, not so bad also. We have flexible curriculum, there are many other activities too. But I can't say that it completely makes us job ready.
As I'm only in first year, I can't properly say about this but seniors whom I know are placed in mass recruiter TCS. But the college works to provide the placement to the students. There are soft skills classes which teach us how to be professional. But at the end it depends on the individual how well they perform.
My course cost 1lakh -1.5lakh per year. Yeah I think I'm getting my money's worth because of all the facilities provided.
Campus is good, many grounds enough space to organize functions.
My college was above my expectations, even if it may lack some things but the college is working it's best to give the best to the students. Students are provided with many opportunities other than studies. There are many clubs to showcase your talent and mingle up with like minded people. Students compete in national level Competitions. College provides all facilities.
Unfortunately you are not eligible for lateral entry admission in UIT RGPV, SGSITS, and DAVV because a first-year engineering student cannot apply for lateral entry admission because lateral entry in these colleges is only available to students who have already completed a diploma in engineering, allowing them to directly enter the second year of a B.Tech program; therefore, you need to complete a diploma first to be eligible for lateral entry.
However you can take part in college level counselling of UIT RGPV, SGSITS, and DAVV to take transfer from your college if any seat vacant in the college they will notified it on their official website in the month of July.keep visiting site for admission details.
Hello aspirant,
With a CRL rank of 299,376 and a percentile of 79.78 in JEE Mains, it might be challenging to secure a seat in a Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) branch at Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Gwalior (assuming that’s what you meant by MITS Gwalior). Generally, top engineering institutions like MNIT Gwalior have highly competitive cutoffs for CSE and other core branches, often requiring much higher ranks and percentiles.
However, having an MP domicile might give you some advantage in state quota seats, but it’s unlikely to bridge the gap for such a competitive branch like CSE. You might have better chances with lower-demand branches or at other institutions with more relaxed cutoffs.
If you're open to other options, consider exploring:
You should also check the latest cutoff trends and admission data, as these can vary slightly from year to year.
You can go through the following article to check previous year cutoff trends of MITS Gwalior and expected cutoff for 2024 :-

Hope it helps !
