MACET Patna Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Maulana Azad College of Engineering and Technology (MACET), Patna, is a renowned engineering college approved by AICTE. The college offers different undergraduate and diploma courses in various branches of engineering. MACET's admission process is designed to select meritorious candidates through a competitive entrance test.

The large-scale mode of entry into MACET Patna is the Bihar Private Technical & Professional Institutions Association Competitive Entrance Test (BPTPIA CET). The entry test is conducted for admission in both B.Tech and Diploma courses of the college. The BPTPIA CET has a fair and transparent selection process for all of the engineering courses of MACET.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: MACET offers B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Data Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Admission into these 4-year programs is through the BPTPIA CET. Each of the B.Tech programs has 60 students, except Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, each having 30 students.

Diploma: The college provides Diploma programs of 3 years in the streams of Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. They also receive admissions through BPTPIA CET. There are 60 seats available for all Diploma programs.
