Meenakshi Ramaswamy Engineering College, Ariyalur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Boys Hostel is situated inside the college campus. Students are provided hygienic vegetarian and non-vegetarian food with purified drinking water supply. Cots are provided for benefit of the students. Strict Study hours are conducted by the hostel faculties in evening & morning hours. Students are provided with the sports materials during play hours after college hours in the evening. LCD TV is installed for entertainment in the weekends. Guest house and Staff Quarters are under construction. Internet lab is opened for the benefit of the hostel students after the college hours between 4.30 & 6PM.

The College Library is well equipped with more number of Books, National and International Journals. For effective Teaching learning process, the library is maintaining a special section which is incorporated with Educational CD’s and DVD’s in fields of Engineering, Management and Science and Humanities. The Library takes more efforts in adding more volumes of books and journals every year to quench the thirst of our staff & students. Open access system is adopted to avail the maximum utilization of the Library resources. To benefit the students, Digital Library is installed, which helps them in utilizing the library more effectively. Library transactions are maintained by Integrated Library Management Software package with Bar-coding provisions. Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) facility is available to save the access time of the users. We have DELNET membership for the library which provides e-journals every month.The library department is manned by the following staff who are highly qualified and experienced. 

The College sports commonly refer to activities where the sole physical capabilities of the competitor are the sole or primary determinant of the outcome [ winning or losing ] , but the term is also used to include activities such as mind sports [ a common name for some card games with little to no element of chance ]and motor sports where mental acuity or equipment quality are major factors . sport is commonly defined as an organized, competitive and skillful physical activity requiring commitment and fair play. Some view sports as differing from games based on the fact that there are usually higher levels of organization and profit [ not always monetary ] involved in sports. Accurate records are kept and updated for most sports at the highest levels, while failures and accomplishments are widely announced in sports news.

The college provides exceptional transport facility to the students and staff. Buses are available for all routes in the Trichy city and the suburbs. The buses are equipped with a speed governor and first aid facilities. To prevent accidents and late comers to the college, All services and repairs of the buses are done in the workshop inside the campus, The Buses are well and properly maintained in a good condition and we provide buses to all the nook and corner of the city as well as out of the city.

The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.
