The college infrastructure is also pretty good, with good spacious classroom space and proper ventilation. The campus was designed such that each department has its own building. It has all the facilities needed.
I completed my MBA from MIET and am quite satisfied with the course curriculum. The teachers are highly knowledgeable and supportive, with a clear understanding of the skill sets required in the corporate world
Placement opportunities: Good, companies from multiple sectors visit campus every year. Some of them have good roles as well; some 40-60% of students get placed. The average CTC package would be around 3-5 LPA.
Mba fees at my time were approx 1.20 lpa per year.
The college infrastructure is quite good, but some facilities like Wi-Fi and fully equipped labs are not available. However, canteen serves hygienic and tasty food. There are grounds available for playing several games on the campus too.
The faculty members are well knowledgeable and efficient in their teaching methods. They follow the curriculum mentioned by AKTU University and focus on preparing students to be industry-ready, especially for the food industry.
Our college claims to provide placements in reputed companies like Deloitte, Wipro, and others, ensuring that every eligible student gets an opportunity. Students with a minimum of 60 percentage also get good placement.
It isn't, it's fees are costly.
The buildings are old and not renovated for years. Some classrooms lack AC some malfunctioned, MBA ones. Labs are okay but outdated. The library is useful, and Wi-Fi is patchy. Basic, but needs major upgrades
Teaching is good in some areas, but outdated in others. There are very few professors who are updated with the modern methods of teaching, but most of them follow the old syllabus. Regular classes do help, but industry exposure is less. So, proactive students can still do all right
Placements, primarily, focus on sales-based roles with minimal diversity in terms of company. Packages are average ranging around ₹2-4 LPA. Core job seekers have good opportunity here . Support from the placement cell exists but needs improvement
Fees are relatively reasonable, and scholarships are provided for deserving students. Hence, it is affordable for many. However, considering outdated facilities and placements, some may feel the value is average unless they utilize resources comprehensively.
Campus life is quite vibrant with various events and activities. Several students make life here quite alive. Clubs and fests ensure an interaction and coordination among peers and help in making life here enjoyable despite infrastructure issues.
My experience is somewhere good or casual
The college infrastructure is impressive, with a huge and well-maintained campus. It gives wonderful Wi-Fi connectivity and well-constructed buildings. Students get to benefit from essential facilities, including spacious classrooms.
The teachers here are very good, provide comprehensive notes, and readily assist one with doubts. They are substantially knowledgeable about their respective subjects and are quite skilled in teaching.
The placement opportunities at the college are not satisfactory. Hiring activities are minimal, and the average placement package ranges between 3 to 4 LPA. You can get even more trying off campus placements.
Not really it's expensive as compared to other colleges.
Professors have very good communication skills and interact excellently with students. They involve students during discussions and are very supportive by aiding students to better understand the course material.
Our college provides various facilities such as smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a playground that enhance the overall learning experience. The most notable facility is the library, which stores a large amount of books.
The college has organized campus placement drives and makes its best efforts to prepare the students. They undertake many skill enhancement sessions, including aptitude classes, to ensure that students come out well-prepared to face interviews by the companies.
I'm pursuing MBA and it cost me approx 2.5 Lakh overall fees.
Campus life is good.
The college has a good number of classrooms and well-maintained laboratories. The library is spacious and has almost all the available books needed for the syllabus. Computers are also available in the library connected to the internet.
The teaching facilities within my MCA program are good, and the curriculum really is up-to-date. The time put in extracurricular activities is an excellent way of developing practical knowledge and skills outside the classroom
The college has a strong track record of placing nearly every student through campus drives, with competitive salary packages being offered. The placement team is highly supportive and guides through all stages of placements.
It's my first so I'm still exploring campus life.
The nature and behavior of the faculty towards students are good, and the infrastructure of the university is also very good. There are three canteens on the campus and one central library of the university along with a library of each department and also a big pizza shop for foodies.
All the teachers who teach in this college and are teaching us have also completed their PhDs. They provide a lot of knowledge to the students. Also, the level of semester exams is moderate, and all the students can easily clear the exams because the faculty teaches well.
It takes all the students irrespective of percentage in the college and does not have any percentage criteria to get admitted into the college. Average package: 2 lakh per annum. Top recruiting company is Amazon and top roles finance manager.
Fees of MBA at my time was approx 1 lakh per year.
Infrastructure at my college is good. From classrooms to the computer labs, classes are spacious. There are two libraries to fulfill every sort of academic need. Separate hostels for boys and girls provide comfortable rooms and the mess provides decent food. Its overall facility maintains this excellent campus life.
The academics at our college are well-structured with teachers who are very supportive and accessible. Their teaching methods are not that tough but definitely easy to understand. Learning is an experience enjoyed with teachers. Teachers are well qualified and experienced.
Strong placement opportunities are found at my college. The average packages that range between 3 and 5 lakhs per annum, with the highest package being 6 lakhs per annum last year. The only problem is that mostly companies are startups.
Our college has excellent infrastructure with many buildings, spacious garden areas, playgrounds, and a gymnasium. The internet, electricity, smart classrooms, and well-equipped laboratories are also available. The flowers and greenery decorate the campus, making it a clean and well-maintained place.
The academics at our college consist of a proper structure with semester exams and supportive teachers who provide us with all sorts of resources. They guide us towards the right path and teach us new techniques. I am pursuing an MBA, and on the whole, things have been good.
The placement opportunities here are average. Companies conduct placement drives for various profiles. The placement cell actively shares all the details regarding interviews and provides the required support and information to the students.
The college campus is expansive and enjoyable. We have garden areas, a gym, a cafeteria, yoga classes, and a peaceful natural environment. Hanging out with friends in the cafeteria is one of the best parts of college life here.
The campus is truly impressive, and the teachers offer personal mentoring, which greatly helped me excel in my future studies. Additionally, the infrastructure is currently being renovated to provide more space and better facilities for students."
The course is a nice balance of practical and theoretical knowledge. They also propose training in soft skills, enabling students to prepare themselves better for future placements. I liked the lectures mostly held in English and French.
The placement cell has really been supportive. They helped me get this internship and were also arranging all those mock interview sessions. They take an individualistic approach, reviewing each student's performance to help them better as a group.
My campus life was exceptionally awesome,I explored a lot of nearby places.
When choosing between MIET (Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology), Meerut, and KIT (Kanpur Institute of Technology), Kanpur, for a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), several factors should be considered to determine which college might be the better fit for you.
Both colleges have their strengths, but if you're looking for a more established name with a solid track record in placements, MIET, Meerut, might be a better choice. However, KIT, Kanpur, is also a strong contender, especially if you're looking for an institution that is growing rapidly and placing an increasing emphasis on industry connections and practical learning.
Your decision might also depend on other factors like location preference, campus environment, and personal priorities. Visiting both campuses and speaking with current students or alumni could further help in making an informed choice.
hope this helps you!!

Hello,
A private university with more tuition and funding would undoubtedly have greater amenities, as would SRM Chennai.
The state government's engineering university, Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), offers government seats that are filled through centralised counselling. MIET is located in Meerut.
As for SRM, well, it is SRM, a private institution, a renowned one at that recognised for standards, and given the tuition they demand, buying a student a placement won't be a tough job. MIET has also had great placements throughout the years. Private universities obtain student placements in this manner.
Here are some details. Your choice is yours to make.
Good Luck!!
