The college has the basic facilities, but for a technical course like civil engineering, labs need more advanced equipment. Classrooms are decent, but sometimes projectors don’t work. The library has good books for civil, but not many updated ones. Wi-Fi is there, but honestly, it’s not reliable. Campus is okay, but the workshop areas feel a little outdated
Academics are quite decent. Most of the teachers have good knowledge and explain concepts well. They focus on practical aspects like site surveys and material testing, which is helpful. But sometimes, theory classes feel too long and repetitive. Overall, they cover all the basics, so if you study properly, you’ll get a solid foundation.
: Placements are average. Construction companies do visit, but the roles offered are more entry-level and internships. Packages range from ₹2-3 LPA for freshers, which is fine for a diploma. If you want better jobs, you’ll have to continue studying or gain some field experience. The placement team tries, but results are not very consistent.
The fees are affordable, so it feels okay value-wise. For what they charge, you do get decent training, but they could spend more on improving lab equipment and placement tie-ups. Still, it’s not bad if you’re looking for a cost-effective way to start your career in civil engineering.
Campus life is just okay. There are some tech fests and events, but not a lot of focus on extracurricular activities. The crowd is mostly focused on studies, and the overall vibe is chill. There’s not much of a hangout scene, but the campus is safe, and people are friendly.
A decent place for a diploma in civil engineering. The academics are good for basics, but placements and infrastructure need work. If you’re looking for an affordable option to get started in this field, it’s a fair choice, but you’ll need to work hard on your skills outside of college too.
With this much rank, you have some chances of getting "Computer science and engineering" branch at LNMIIT. However, with this rank, you have nearly 100 percent chances of getting "communication and computer engineering" branch a LNMIIT. Following are the 2018's cutoffs:
