MET's School of Engineering, Thrissur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Application Process

The application process varies from METS for B.Tech Programs.

For B.Tech Programs:

2. Score a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II to qualify in the KEAM.
3. Check the KEAM Rank List for admission.
4. Register at METS School of Engineering through the common admission mechanism offered by the Kerala government.
5. If chosen, report to the institute for document verification and admission formalities.

For M.Tech Programs:

1. Take the GATE examination and secure a valid score.
2. Apply directly to METS School of Engineering when they open their application process for M.Tech programs.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be called for additional rounds of selection, if there are any.
4. Complete the admission formalities at the institute upon final selection.

For NRI Category (applicable to B.Tech programs):

1. Qualify with the minimum pass marks in the KEAM examination.
2. Undergo the admission procedures through the NRI quotas at the time of admission.
3. Present necessary documents to prove NRI status.
4.  If selected, finish all the steps of admission procedures at the institute.

Degree wise Admissions Process

B.Tech Programs: METS School of Engineering offers various B.Tech programs. These include Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Civil Engineering. Admission to all these B.Tech programs follows a common process:

• Candidates will have to qualify in the KEAM with a minimum of 10 marks each in Paper I and Paper II.
• They should be listed in the KEAM Rank List.
• The university has an intake of 60 seats each for Computer Science and Engineering, Biotechnology Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.
• The intake number in Mechanical Engineering and Civil Engineering is each 30.

M.Tech Programs: The institute will offer M.Tech programs in Cyber Security and Biotechnology Engineering. The admission process for M.Tech includes:

• Admission is primarily for students with valid GATE scores.
• If there are vacant seats available, students from Kerala State without valid GATE scores may be considered.
• If seats still remain vacant thereafter, students from other states will be considered.
• The M.Tech Cyber Security program has an intake of 18 seats, while M.Tech Biotechnology Engineering has 9 seats.

Diploma Programs: METS School of Engineering offers various diploma programs such as Computer Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning, and Civil and Environmental Engineering.
