PhD Biotechnology | Candidates from Science and Technology backgrounds seeking admission to the PhD Programme, whether full-time or part-time, shall have to possess the requisite percentage of marks/ grade point average in the qualifying examination. + For candidates with M.Sc. qualification: The required minimum qualification for admission to a PhD programme shall be a two-year Master’s or M.Phil degree in the relevant field. + She/ he must have obtained either a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent Grade in the M.Phil. degree or in the Master’s Degree (for all disciplines except Engineering and Technology). In addition, overall 60% at all academic levels will be desirable. For candidates with M.Tech./B.Tech. qualification: Applicants with M. Candidates appearing for the PERA CET exam should have a thorough understanding of the syllabus to have a good preparation strategy. The question paper for the undergraduate entrance exam will be based on the 12th std syllabus. Therefore the candidate should a good understanding of this and need to prepare accordingly. It is comparatively less tougher than JEE Mains and BITSAT.
