Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: MCET offers different B.Tech programmes, including Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Biotechnology and Biochemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Admission to the programmes is mostly offered based on KEAM scores. The college has a total intake of 360 seats in all B.Tech courses with the maximum intake of 120 seats in Computer Science and Engineering.

M.Tech: M.Tech programs are offered in Power Systems, Computer Science and Engineering, and Applied Electronics and Instrumentation. The intake is 9 seats for each course. Admission to M.Tech programs is normally through GATE scores, and there can be an interview process later.

MCA: MCET offers a Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program with an intake of 60 seats. The MCA admission may involve a state-level entrance test or the rank of a national-level test, coupled with counseling.

MBA: The college provides MBA programs, including an MBA in Shipping and Logistics Management. The number of seats under MBA programs totals 60 seats. Admission in MBA programs is typically based on CAT or state-level MBA entrance test scores followed by a personal interview and group discussion.

BHMCT: MCET also offers a Bachelor of Hotel Management and Catering Technology (BHMCT) program with 120 students. The entry into the program may be through another entrance test or merit.

In mohandas college of Engineering and Technology, anad… Students are expected to adhere to the dress code prescribed by the institution while in campus. Boys should wear trousers with formal belts (only black / brown colours permitted) and insert shirts with half sleeves and their feet should be protected with socks and shoes. Jeans and T-shirts are not permitted. Girls should wear salwar kameez and dhuppatta. Girls should take care to tuck their hair. The ID card should be displayed whenever they are inside the campus. Strict disciplinary actions will be taken on the spot against those who violate the dress code.
