Moti Babu Institute of Technology (MBIT), Patna, is a technical institution affiliated to a university duly recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). B.Tech: A total of 270 B.Tech seats are available through MBIT over six streams, namely, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, and Electrical Engineering with 54 seats each. Admission to the above programs will be based on the performance of students in the 10+2 examination, with an emphasis on scores in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The institute may also consider scores of relevant engineering entrance examinations.

BBA: The BBA program in MBIT has an intake of 120 seats. Admission for the BBA is based on the scholarly performance of the candidate in the 10+2 examination. Besides, the institute might conduct an entrance test or interview for evaluating the candidate's aptitude for management studies.

BCA: MBIT offers an undergraduate level 3-year study of Bachelor in Computer Applications 120 seats.
