Hi

You have not mentioned your domicile state but going to your profile suggest that you are from Karnataka

You have not mentioned the category you belong to so I am assuming you from general category

It's quite difficult to predict marks for Government Medical College as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

But when we go through previous data then it suggests that you should at least get around 500 marks to be on the safe side to get a seat in Government Medical College in Karnataka under State

For example,

In neet 2019 , 454 marks for general category got a seat in Kodagu Institute of Medical Sciences, MADIKERI which is a government medical college under Karnataka State quota

Hey Arvind,

First of all congratulations on scoring such good marks. The cut offs of ALL India quota shows a great fluctuation every year. It's seems difficult to say at this point of time what the cut off for this year will be.

Although you can predict your chances of getting a government MBBS seat by using our NEET COLLEGE PREDICTOR,

Hello,

MS Ramaiah Medical College is one of a prestigious college. It is a private college  which belongs to the rajiv gandhi university. To enter this college candidate should take the NEET seriously.  They must have 50% over gross. But in case of sc, st and obc it is around 40%. The marks range in between 439-466.

Hope for the best.

Thank you.

The cutoff last year was 522 marks equivalent to an ALL INDIA QUOTA rank of 14060. Having said this cutoffs keep changing from year to year as they depend on various factors like number of candidates, paper level difficulty, etc.

MNG seats means management quota seats. Some seats are reserved by the management and they charge heavily for those seats. It is almost triple or quadraple times the normal fees. And the cutoff is pretty low comparatively through the MNG quota.

You haven't mentioned your Category. Neverthless, Ramaiah is a Private Medical College and all Private Medical Colleges have 3 types of seats. Category A is a Government Quota Category and here in 2019, 457 marks secured a seat under General Category. That was the cut off. For OBC it was 446. Under SC Category, 353 marks secured a seat in the same Category. 529 was the cut off for ST Category for Category A seats. So if you want a seat in MS Ramaiah Medical College, based on your Category, you should target atleast 40 -50 marks more. Now this is based on 2019 data and cut offs change every year. Cut offs change every year depending on various factors such as no.of Candidates appearing for the exam, no.of Candidates qualified, top NEET score and difficulty of the exam.
