MITS Ernakulam UG Course Admissions

MITS Ernakulam B.Tech Admission Procedure

Candidates first have to meet the MITS B.Tech eligibility criteria.
After that, candidates must appear for the KEAM Examination (Kerala Engineering Architecture & Medical Examination), conducted by the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala.
After the declaration of the result, ranks and cutoff are released.
Candidates meeting the cutoff have to appear for KEAM counselling and give preference to MITS Ernakulam for government quota admissions.
Admissions to B.Tech Programmes are strictly based on merit through Govt. Quota and Management Quota.
Selected candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees.

MITS Ernakulam PG Course Admissions

The college offers M.Tech programmes in various disciplines and an MCA programme at the postgraduate level. The duration of the PG courses is 2 years. The details of MITS PG eligibility criteria and seat intake are given below in tabular format.

MITS Ernakulam M.Tech admissions are based on the candidate’s performance in the qualifying and entrance examinations.
Selected candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees.

MITS Ernakulam MCA Admission Procedure

Candidates first have to meet the MITS MCA eligibility criteria.
MITS Ernakulam MCA admissions are provided through allotment by the competent state authority (Director LBS Centre for Science and Technology).
Management Quota admissions are done by inviting online applications and publication of merit rank list by Muthoot Institute Of Technology And Science, Ernakulam.

Academics

The professors are good and interactive, We find the class more interesting than the normal classes, due to the way of teaching by the professors. The students interests are taken into preferrence by the professors. So that when we are bored or tired they care to cancel the class or just dont take the long lectures.

How was the campus life in MITS?

Since you have not specifically mentioned the exact college, I will brief you about following 2 colleges:

1. MITS Madanapalle:

Placement: MITS, Madanapalle has ahigh record of placements. The companies like Cognizant technology solutions and Tata consultancy services visit the college for recruitment. The average salary is upto Rs. 3.5L per annum.
Infrastructure: The college has very good facilities for students. The labs are well-quipped. There are e-books available. Classrooms are fitted with projectors. Canteen is well-maintained and hygienic.
Faculty: The teaching staffs are well experienced and knowledgeable. They are very supportive if student has difficulty.
Campus: There are various activities conducted by each department and the students have many clubs as well.

2. Muthoot Institute of Technology and Science:

Placement: Companies like TCS and Byju visit this college for placement of students. Over 80% of the students get placed. Placement cell is very active and train their students well.
Infrastructure: Good equipments in the labs. the campus has WiFi facility too. The college is maintained very neat and tidy. The classrooms are also spacious.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified. They help the students as well.
This college do not conduct many events but there is a scholarship scheme for meritious students.
