Nari Gursahani Law College, Ulhasnagar Admission Process

Nari Gursahani Law College (NGLC), Ulhasnagar, is provides quality legal education to aspiring professionals. The college, approved by the Bar Council of India, follows a comprehensive admission process governed by the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institution (Regulation of Admissions and Fees) Act, 2015. This ensures a unified and non-discriminatory selection process for all applicants.

The admission cycle of NGLC usually coincides with the Maharashtra Common Entrance Test for Law (MH CET Law) schedule. For the upcoming academic year, the MH CET Law exam will be conducted online from March 20-21, 2025. Aspirants must note this date and prepare themselves accordingly because exam scores play a crucial role in the admission process.

The eligibility criteria of admission to the NGLC vary according to the program chosen. For a 3-year LLB degree, candidates who have completed any bachelor's degree in any field from a recognized university are selected. For integrated programs like 5-year BLS LLB and BA LLB, students passed their 10+2 or equivalent examination conducted by a recognized board.

The MH CET Law is the state-level entrance test accepted by NGLC for admission. The test checks candidates' aptitude for legal studies. The general pattern of the exam consists of four sections: legal aptitude, logical reasoning, general knowledge, and English language. All aspirants are strictly advised to prepare well for all the sections so that they score a competitive result.

Application Process

  1. Following are the steps in getting an application done at Nari Gursahani Law College:
  2. Registration with appearance in the MH CET Law Examination. This online examination has already been scheduled to take place between 20 and 21 March, 2025, during the current academic session.
  3. As soon as the MH CET Law results are released along with its answer key, check out the score along with the rank acquired.
  4. Once one exceeds the prescribed cut-off, there is a provision for candidate admissions through CAP at the state-level, initiated by the concerned State Authorities to find admission in Law Colleges and universities of their concern.
  5. Fill up online application form made available on NGLC and CAP website where all the asked details should be correctly entered as scan all the attested copies required.
  6. Pay the demanded application fees of CAP guidelines.
  7. Select Nari Gursahani Law College, and the stream of LLB, BLS LLB Integrated or BA LLB as your highest option during Counseling.
  8. Wait for the counseling seat allotment result. As soon as seat is allotted for NGLC, report to NGLC College within the stated time for verifying documents and complete the admission.
  9. Deposit fees, also submit original documents against the respective streams in Nari Gursahani Law College.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A. LLB: This is a 5-year integrated course where arts subjects are integrated with law. Admission will be given according to the candidate's performance in the MH CET Law exam. The candidate should have passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination. Admission procedure is done as per the guidelines of the Maharashtra Unaided Private Professional Educational Institution Act, 2015.

BLS LLB Integrated: Another 5-year integrated program offered by NGLC. The admission process is similar to the B.A. LLB program, requiring MH CET Law scores. Candidates who have completed their 10+2 or equivalent examination are eligible to apply. The total fee for this program is approximately Rs 1,25,000.

LLB: It is a 3-year program for graduates in any discipline. Admission is through MH CET Law scores and is as per the state's admission rules. The total fee for the LLB program is approximately Rs 75,000. Candidates should have completed a bachelor's degree to apply for this course.

Generally, the following documents are required for the application process:

  • MH CET Law score card
  • 10th and 12th Std mark sheets along with passing certificates
  • Graduation degree certificate and mark sheets for the applicants for the 3-year LLB
  • Valid ID proof: Aadhar card, PAN card, etc
  • Passport size photographs
  • Domicile certificate, if needed
  • Caste certificate in case, the candidate is applying to the reserved category
  • Any other documents as deemed necessary by the concerned state admission authority or NGLC.
