Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital, Visnagar Admission Process

Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College & Hospital, Visnagar has always been the most prestigious institution in North Gujarat India. It welcomes tremendously competitive and merit-based admission policies for Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College & Hospital as per the rules and regulations made by the regulatory bodies.

Undergraduate-admission requires the qualification of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) and the completed application form. A 10+2 level education must be attained at minimum within the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Biology to be able to join the BDS degree program. Postgraduate admissions for MDS courses will be made through the NEET MDS. The core requirement to apply for any MDS courses is that the candidate should have completed their BDS program from a recognized institution.

All 10 courses are available under the undergraduate and postgraduate categories. The BDS program has 100 seats available to the applicants, while several specializations under MDS have a collective intake of 33 seats. Degree wise Admission Process

BDS: The Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) program at Narsinhbhai Patel Dental College and Hospital admits 100 students. Admissions are based on the NEET score obtained by the candidate. The candidate must have passed 10+2 with the subjects Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

MDS: The college offers nine MDS specializations; the seats available differ for each:

- MDS Prosthodontics and Crown and Bridge (5 seats)
- MDS Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics (5 seats)
- MDS Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics (5 seats)
- MDS Public Health Dentistry (3 seats)
- MDS Periodontics (3 seats)
- MDS Oral Medicine and Radiology (3 seats)
- MDS Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (3 seats)
- MDS Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry (3 seats)
- MDS Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology (3 seats)

The entry qualifications for MDS programs include the presentation of the candidate's performance on the NEET MDS examination. A candidate must also hold a valid BDS degree from an accredited institution.

Documents generally required for admission are:

  • NEET/NEET MDS score card
  • 10th and 12th mark sheets
  • BDS degree certificate and mark sheets (for MDS applicants)
  • Internship completion certificate
  • Valid ID proof
  • Passport size photograph
  • Caste certificate (if applicable)
