Nathdwara Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), is an AICTE-approved college that provides a variety of engineering courses. The institute has a systematic admission process as per the State Government norms and the Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture & Pharmacy (RPET). NIET's admission process is formulated to choose deserving students for its different undergraduate and diploma courses.

Admissions to NIET usually start in July-August for the academic year. The institute provides admissions under three quotas: All India Quota (15% of total intake), State Quota (70%, including SC/ST, OBC reservations), and Management Quota (15%). Admissions to B.Tech programs are on the basis of RPET scores, whereas Diploma programs have a centralized admission process through the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan.

Application Process

Application procedure for Nathdwara Institute of Engineering and Technology differs according to the program:

For B.Tech programs:

1. Sit for the Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture & Pharmacy (RPET).
2. Verify the RPET result and counseling schedule at the official site.
3. Get registered in counseling if one is eligible.
4. Opt for NIET and desired courses during counseling.
5. Report to NIET for document verification and fee deposition if a seat is allotted.

For Diploma programmes:

1. Apply through centralized admission process arranged by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan.

3. Await the declaration of the merit list by the Board.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: NIET provides B.Tech courses in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admissions to these courses are done on the basis of scores obtained in the Rajasthan Pre Entrance Test for Engineering, Architecture & Pharmacy (RPET). The institute has an overall intake of 150 seats in all B.Tech courses, with the highest intake of 60 seats in Civil Engineering.

Diploma: NIET offers Diploma courses in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering. Admission to these courses is done through a centralized mode by the Board of Technical Education, Rajasthan. The admission is done on the basis of merit, and there is an approved intake of 60 seats in each program.
