The NIMAS Kolkata placement cell offers a power packed personality and placement grooming module, supported by learning through language lab, which has enhanced the employability of its students. The NIMAS Kolkata grooms the students as action leaders with a positive attitude through innovative methods to add value to the organisation by being achievers in the face of any adversity. The NIMAS Kolkata placement cell takes all initiatives for competency development of the students to exert high performance.

The NIMAS Kolkata placement process starts in the month of September the previous year and ends in April. Several companies from India and overseas visit the campus, and the students have been placed in various rewarding positions. The focused activities which help a student to make their career graph as one of the priorities are set by the NIMAS Kolkata placement department. All students are assisted with the technical and psychological thinking to understand the corporate culture as prevalent in India and abroad.

During their second year of the course, apart from their regular classes, events, workshops, industry linkage and on-job training are organised to assist them in grooming up their profile as per the standard requirement.

Placement of NIMAS Bca is over all good. Great fees structure and overall good infrastructure is the point of view of NIMAS institution affiliated by MAKAUT. I,Mriganka Das, BCA 1st year student of NIMAS institution. In these pandemic situations all schools and colleges are closed but education is a continuing process and our institution arrange online classes for us in various platforms.

Placement of our college is average. The college provides proper grooming so that we can attend interview and clear it easy. Highest salary package is 5L PA.. and average Sala salary is 2.5 LPA.........

Optometry is the healthcare profession of measuring vision, prescribes and fit lenses to improve vision, and detecting & treat various eye diseases. Optometry is a dynamic and challenging career option which offers self-awareness, work flexibility, community respect, money related achievement & many opportunities. Choosing career in optometry offers a high salary, job stability, tremendous potential. There are various colleges and institutes which offer courses related to Optometry(B.Sc, Diploma) and NIMAS, Kolkata is one of them. Bachelor in optometry is a 4 years UG course. The total fees for Bachelor in optometry in NIMAS is INR 3.17Lakhs.

About placement oppurtunities in NIMAS, It's a well known fact that Nimas Placement cell works very efficient. NIMAS also provides training before placement session starts. NIMAS gives numerous oppurtunities to their students.

NIMAS, Kolkata campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Hostel rooms are clean and spacious. Canteen food is okay but very hygienic. campus is so well maintained, it doesn't look so old. Classrooms are spacious. Good number of books are provided in the library. Also NIMAS has great Faculty members. All are well qualified and experienced. Teachers use PPT, books for teaching. Students are often send for industrial visit. Faculty are very helpful. NIMAS also offers Scholarship program which is available for meritorious students as well as minorities.
