We have free Wi-Fi in the hostel, mess, and all buildings. We have several buildings. All buildings have Wi-Fi. In classrooms, signals are low but outside they're strong. We have computer labs and a 3D printing lab, mech lab, etc. We have labs for each and every subject and course offered. We have sports facilities: basketball court, football ground, badminton court, and indoor games as well.
The teachers at NMIT are highly qualified and very friendly with the students. However, some of the teachers are bad at teaching but you always expect that in an engineering college so no worries. Our college follows VTU syllabus, which makes the students industry ready.
Placements in the college are really good, and the companies that visited for the campus placements are also top companies. The success ratio of the campus placements is extremely good. The companies which visited include both service-based and product-based with good CTC and good roles.
There are many classrooms and a library, and the campus is good. Wi-Fi is there only in labs but not in classrooms, faculty members are not that good; hostel food is okay but you will get bored because the menu will be repeated every week; college is very good in sports and games .
Some of the teachers are very good, qualified and have good knowledge, but many of them don't know much. No, it will not make you industry-ready; it will make your basics clear, but you should learn other things on your own. Exams will not be that easy; they will be difficult.
Maximum Students are Placed in Electronic and Communication Department. The top roles are associate software engineers. The top companies coming to college are IBM, Phonepe and Nutanix. We have to search for internships and the college will not bring companies for internships.
There is a well-equipped lab for our department, which is brand new. And the facilities, like the library and other information sources, are very good. The infrastructure of classrooms, libraries, and auditoriums is good. The canteen and the mess are very clean and hygienic, and they offer delicious food. There are college hostels for both boys and girls, which are on campus as well as off campus. There is a very good platform for sports and other extracurricular activities.
Highly experienced faculty members who are with the students at any time, and they will support the student in academic excellence as well as in their passion. There is a culture of mentoring the students periodically and helping them in their passion. The curriculum includes new technologies and upcoming developments to be learned by the students, and they access students by conducting 3 internals and a semester-end examination for each semester.
Our college assures good placement percentage, and they also provide internships, which are helpful to get placed. The average package for 2023–24 is 6.6 LPA, and 94 percent of students got placed in companies they wished for. The placement cell plays a crucial role in getting students into the corporate world, and our college career development cell will do a great job. And this AI and this course had been implemented 3 years ago; therefore, there is no output yet. But the overall placements are good at our college.
The labs are well ventilated with an air-conditioned system and a Wi-Fi facility and the labs have high-end computers for students. The hostel rooms are well ventilated and spacious and the food at the mess and canteen is good as compared to other colleges. There is a lot of scope in NMIT for sports and other activities.
The faculty is there to be helpful for students in all the ways and they provide industrial-level training for students, which will help them get placed in good companies. Semester exams are moderate-level, not tougher, not easier. The NMIT provides industrial-level training for students.
About 94 percent of students got placed every year, with the highest packages being 32 lacs, the lowest being 400000 and the average package being 8 lacs. The top recruiting companies at NMIT are Infosys, Wipro, Tata, HP, Sony, Google, Microsoft, Amazon, and many more. And college provides internships with the best companies for students who are good in academics.
Facilities provided by the college management are not bad, and the infrastructure is also good, though not top-notch. The library is good, providing whatever books we want. Sports and games are also good, and they recently constructed a football ground, which looks awesome. When it comes to the canteen, it is the best spot to hang out with friends after bunking classes. As for the mess food, it's not too bad but not great either.
Yes, teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The standards are good, and the semester exams are easier compared to the mid-exams, which are a bit harder. However, the semester-end exams are very easy, and the practicals are also not that difficult.
Placements are very good where some of the good companies like PhonePe, Amazon, TCS, and Zenken are recruiting. The highest package would be around 24 LPA, the lowest is around 4-5 LPA, and the average is around 5–6 LPA. The internship has been very good in our college. Every student gets internship and gets lots of support from college faculty.
There are good hostel facilities inside the campus and outside as well. They have 3 hostels outside and 5 hostels inside the campus. It's better if you get the inside-campus hostel because you will be able to get good sleep and go back to the hostel during free periods and all. In every hostel, there is good Wi-Fi, water facilities, and good safety provided by the college authority.
It depends; some teachers are good, and some just do time during the class. You will get good marks in semester exams because the exam papers will be easy, and teachers will say the important questions. Build good peer learning, which will help you out in getting good marks. The corrections are also made liberally.
As per my knowledge, our college has good placements for Computer Science and other IT branches. For other branches, students will get average placements. Around 200 students, 150 students will be placed from IT branches. The average package is 3 Lacs and the highest will be around 32 Lacs, which is offered by Japanese companies.
The Wi-Fi is decent enough. The faculty arena is not that great and experienced. All they usually care about is completing the syllabus. The labs are really well-maintained and nice. The infrastructure is upgraded every year. The canteen food is also decent enough, but the mess food is bad.
The teachers do not help students when it comes to any sort of help. Only a handful of teachers are experienced and knowledgeable, while the others just read out PPTs. The exam timetable is very messed up, with a heavy syllabus and absolutely no gaps between exams.
The placements arena is not that great for core branches, but they are really great for IT/Software branches. The packages are decent enough, starting with around 6 LPA up to almost 24 LPA. Top companies include Oracle, and Bosch. The placement percentage is 93%, and the college supports students in every way
The hostel has 24/7 water. It has a water purifier. There is a canteen which has all kinds of breakfast and meals. It will be closed during the night. Hostels are cleaned every day except Sunday. The mess provided breakfast, lunch, snacks, and dinner. The warden is very strict. There is an outpass system to go for an outing.
Faculty and everything are just fine. Honestly, this course won't take you anywhere. All that matters is attendance for these people. They don't care if you understand topics or not. If you want to get placements and stuff, you need to do internships for which they won't give attendance, then improve skills and stuff.
I don't know about the percentage, but most of them got placed. The highest salary package offered is 27 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is around 7 LPA. Placements are also done through Zenken. To get placements, you need to do a lot of projects and stuff. Internships can be done online through many platforms. Our college also provides in-house internships.
Infrastructure is decent and it's 23 acres in size and hostel is also decent (on campus) and mess food is decent and some days alwe are provided special food also that is Good Wi-Fi is Good and have good connectivity in hostels and campus. Also have good ground for sports and medical facilities is also good.
Overall faculty are Good and helpful but few are some type of strict but helpful Yes course is relevant and make industry ready We have hackonthon going on day; companies visited our college and some courses are provided by company to help students. The difficult level is not too m
1) overall 85-90 % students are placed in CSE course 2) the lowest is 4 LPA and the highest domestic placement is 30LPA 3) phonepe adani one and many more 4) around 60 - 70 % got internship and in good company 5) software Engineer data engineer and web developed.
Some faculty members are experienced, meanwhile, the majority of students have issues with newer faculty (less experienced). The new faculty is less experienced in the field, I think. Wi-Fi is often working fine, enough for me. Some of my acquaintances are living in the hostel. They say the food is average/below average. They complain about irregular food timings across days, insects and flies in dishes, poor Wi-Fi, etc. Sports and games are low. We should spare time and participate in these activities, and on the other side, classes will be going on.
Teachers are very helpful, supportive, and available most of the time. The curriculum at some places feels outdated, whereas some on-site aspects of the curriculum are relevant to the industry and make students industry-ready. The semester exams are easy to pass but difficult to score high marks. The pass percentage is 40%.
Structural engineering branch is one of low demand but yet a crucial course, and NITTE college is one of the better institutes for teaching this course. Batch of 2024: Highest package: 8 LPA Average package: 4 LPA Total 820+ students recruited from all branches Top recruiter: 3I-infotech and more.
On the website, it is mentioned that classes have begun from 5th august itself. Verify the dates with the college authorities if you want clarifications.

Hy,
Choosing the right college for Computer Science Engineering (CSE) depends on various factors including faculty quality, infrastructure, placement opportunities, industry exposure, and student reviews. Let’s compare RNS Institute of Technology (RNSIT), Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (NMIT), and CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT) based on these criteria:
Ultimately, the choice depends on your specific preferences and priorities. Visiting the campuses, talking to current students and alumni, and considering your own career goals can help make the best decision.
