NMIT Bangalore Facilities

NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology, Bangalore provides a wide range of facilities to students and faculty. NMIT facilities are a library, boys hostel, girls hostel, medical/hospital, sports, gym, cafeteria, auditorium, wi-fi, IT infrastructure, laboratories, convenience store, parking facility, bank, etc. NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bangalore provides hostels for both boys and girls students. There is a central library on the campus, which has a vast collection of resources.

Both indoor and outdoor games are available at NMIT Bangalore. A gym facility is also there. Hygienic and fresh meals are prepared in the college cafeteria. NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bangalore facilities include departmental laboratories. The college auditorium is very spacious and is equipped with the latest equipment for organising events and seminars. The campus also has a bank, parking area, and many convenience stores.

Boys Hostel
Rooms are available for twin and triple sharing. NMIT boys hostel facilities include 24X7 power supply, wi-fi, medical facility, gym, outdoor and indoor sports, cooperative stationery store, bank, ATM, eateries, etc. The hostels also have a reading room, TV room, music room and open-air theatre. For the security of the students and the hostels, CCTV cameras are also installed.
Girls Hostel
NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology Bangalore girls hostels provide comfortable accommodation to outstation students. The hostel rooms are well-furnished and well-ventilated and have uninterrupted supply of water and electricity. The hostels have a reading room and music room. Recreational facilities like TV, indoor and outdoor games are also available. The hostels are fully enabled with wi-fi. Bank, ATM, stores are available within the hostel premises. CCTV cameras are installed in the hostels for security purposes.
Medical/Hospital
To address student health care, NMIT has a Medical Centre, which is staffed by a full-time nurse. A doctor visits the Medical Centre twice a week. NMIT has a MoU with Ramaiah Memorial Hospital and Aveksha Hospital for further medical services..
Gym
For the welfare of students, well-equipped separate gymnasium for boys and girls with wide range of facilities is set up in the campus. The gymnasium is open to all members of NMIT and is maintained by the Department of Sports.
Library
The college has a spacious library, which caters to the needs of students, faculty members, research scholars and college staff. The library is well-stocked with textbooks, reference books on Engineering, Management, Sciences and general subjects. National and international journals, periodicals, audio/video CD-ROMs and e-resources are also available. The college library has many subscriptions for providing e-resources, which can be accessed through Knimbus software. The library also uses KOHA Library Management Software for providing fully automated services.
Sports
NMIT sports facilities include a hockey ground, cricket pitch, volleyball, basketball, badminton court, multi-purpose track, etc. Indoor games like chess, carrom, badminton are also available. Students are encouraged to participate in various zonal, inter-zonal and varsity level tournaments. The college has also received many accolades and awards. For women and elite sportsmen, specialist coaches are provided.
I.T Infrastructure
NMIT IT infrastructure provides the latest computers and high-speed internet with robust LAN connectivity. The entire networking of the campus is managed by the college IT infrastructure.
Cafeteria
NMIT canteen provides hygienic and sumptuous food, both in north Indian and south Indian styles, with an ample choice of cuisine, to students and staff. In addition to this, the campus has housed several other eatery outlets which provide quick snacks, fresh fruit juice and bakery items.
Auditorium
The institute has an Open-Air Theatre with seating capacity of 2500.
In addition to this, the institute has state of the art Seminar halls and Auditorium with seating capacities mentioned below. Each of them is facilitated with AC, wi-fi connectivity, Projector screen and Sound System.
Transport Facility
The College provides transportation facility to students and staff who commute to and from college. College buses cover majority of regions in Bangalore, Chickballapur and Doddaballapur.
Wifi
The institute provides free internet facility to the students and faculty members. They can access any academic-related information at any time from anywhere inside the campus.
Laboratories
Every department of the college has its own laboratories. NMIT Laboratory facilities include modern instruments and apparatus for doing practicals.
Convenience Store
Stores like stationery shop, book shop, photocopy shop, eatery shop, etc are available on the campus.
Banks/ATMs
NMIT has an on-campus bank facility, which provides all the modern banking services. 24X7 ATM facility is also there.
Parking Facility
Two and three-wheeler parking facility is available for the students and staff members.

Good college, nice infrastructure and facilities , the classrooms and labs are really well equipped, the faculties are very helpful, there are loads of events that happen for co curriculum perspective

College Infrastructure

Yes our college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The classroom, laboratories, libraries, sports centers and hostels are well maintained. The class rooms are having smart board facilities.

College Infrastructure

College infrastructure was good and they are trying to improve it. There are separate block for each branch and different streams along with every facility needs. But the events are conducted in same place.
