• Candidates must first fulfil the eligibility criteria.

• Candidates need to register on the Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU) website to take the VTU Eligibility Test for Research (VTU-ETR).

• Candidates must score at least 50% marks in the VTU-ETR.

• Candidates who have qualified for UGC-NET (including JRF)/ UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF) / SLET/ GATE/ CAT/ MPhil are exempted from the entrance test.
