Padmashree Krutartha Acharya College of Engineering, Bargarh (PKACE) is one of the leading engineering colleges. The college is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, and offers engineering courses, along with MBA. Admission to PKACE is mainly through the Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) for the local students. Along with the OJEE, scores of Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) are also considered for admission into engineering programs at the college. This entrance examination mainly aims to assess the ability and rank of a candidate concerning admission to various courses offered by the institute.
For B.Tech courses, candidates should have completed 10+2 schooling with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects. Application Process

OJEE process:
1. Register & apply for OJEE in the official OJEE website
2. Appear for OJEE while on the scheduled date
3. Announce the result. OJEE counselling is to be followed.
4. If a seat is allocated in PKACE, then admission formalities should be completed at the college.
For JEE Main
1. Apply for JEE Main through the official NTA website.
2. Appear for the JEE Main exam.
3. Register for and participate in state-level counselling based on JEE Main scores.
4. Complete admission formalities at PKACE if selected.
Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Tech: The B.Tech programs offered by PKACE include Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Admission to the programs is based mainly on the OJEE or JEE Main score. For Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering, 60 seats are allotted, and Civil Engineering admits 30 students.
MBA: This is also a 2-year full-time program with an intake of 60 seats. Admission to the program may differ from admission to the engineering programs, as there may be a separate entrance examination or set of criteria. The appropriate college should be contacted in this regard.
