Palakkad Institute of Science and Technology (PIST), Muthalamada, Kerala, is a well-established institution providing top-class education in the engineering branch. The procedure for admission in PIST has been framed with the aim to choose worthy students for its diverse B.Tech courses. There is a centralized admission procedure by the institute in order to carry out the admissions in a most fair and transparent manner.
PIST is involved in the Centralised Admission Process (CAP) for all its B.Tech courses. The process is usually carried out by the higher education authority of the state and takes into account the performance of the candidates in relevant entrance tests. The CAP process enables students to apply for more than one institution and program in a single application, making the admission process less complicated.
For PIST B.Tech courses, the applicants should have done 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as their core subjects, students are normally supposed to possess a good academic record in these subjects to remain competitive in admissions.
