Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College (PAMC), a renowned college offering undergraduate and postgraduate education programs in Ayurveda, is located at Kattakada, Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. It is affiliated with the Central Council for Indian Medicine (CCIM) and ensures a very high level of education in Ayurveda with strict merit for admission.
Undergraduate courses-related admissions to PAMC will be through the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) or the Kerala Engineering Agricultural Medical (KEAM). Important to mention is that NEET will only be conducted once in a year. Those who succeed in meeting the cutoff have eligibility to BAMS admission.
There is postgraduate admission and degree award through All India AYUSH Postgraduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) to PAMC. The MD and MS students are expected to therefore have a good scaling level of Ayurvedic sciences as well as awareness for high-level studies. Eligibility for BAMS Admission: Candidates should pass 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology as Principal Subjects.
Application Process
The application procedures in the case of Pankajakasthuri Ayurveda Medical College are dissimilar for differing programs.
For the BAMS Program
1. Attempt the NEET or KEAM examinations.
2. Score above cut-off marks.
3. Register in the state counseling process (for Kerala state quota seats).
4. During counseling, select PAMC as your option of choice.
5. If blackboard given a merit seat allotment in favour, go to PAMC for verification of documents and admission formalities.
For MD/MS Programs:
1. Appearing in AIAPGET examination.
2. Scoring above cut-off marks.
3. Registering for all India Ayush Post Graduate Counselling.
4. Selecting PAMC and your interested course at the counselling process stage.
5. If a seat is allotted in your favour, go to PAMC for document verification and admission.
Degree-wise Admission Process
BAMS: The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is the main course at PAMC and comprises 60 seats. Admission is granted based on NEET or KEAM rating. The program has been running since 2004 and gives thorough training in Ayurvedic medicine.
MD Kayachikitsa: The postgraduate program has 4 openings, and admissions are via AIAPGET, with additional processes for counseling. The subject area of this program encompasses advanced studies in Ayurveda internal medicine.
MS Salyatantra: It has 4 seats in postgraduate specialization, and admission takes place through the AIAPGET results. Specialization in this course is about Ayurvedic surgical procedures.
MD Ayurved Samhita and Siddhanta: This program has 4 seats for the postgraduate set. Admission is through the AIAPGET, and this course mainly deals with the study of classical Ayurvedic texts and principles.

The academics were mostly theoretical in my time rather than focusing on practical knowledge.There wasn’t enough patient rush in the hospital so few departments had lack of patients.Even the library wasn’t that well equipped like the books related to other deviations of medicine was not available example biophysics,etc

At your rank, your marks should range anywhere between 150 - 250. I want to tell you that at these marks it is quite difficult to get your desired college bt since you have state domicile you can consider applying but there are less chances to get it.
Please note that i am telling this keeping in mind the previous year cut off trends which vary each year depending on many factors like the seat matrix, the number of students applying and the highest marks achieved.
